Ryan Preece may have been slowest among Stewart-Haas Racing drivers in qualifying at Nashville on Saturday. He was 22nd but Preece has shown lately an ability to move up from a track position perspective. Last week at New Hampshire was Preece's best positive place differential of the season (+20). Preece flirted heavily with the Top 10 before settling for 11th. Nashville could be more difficult but two years ago, he finished 16th after starting 25th. A huge brakes issue derailed last year's effort. If Preece can stay on the track, he can find himself inside the Top 15 at times on Sunday.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
