Russell Wilson "Should Be Ready" For Week 6
2 years agoDenver Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett said that quarterback Russell Wilson (shoulder) "should be ready to play" against the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6 on Monday Night Football despite his right shoulder injury. Wilson received a platelet-rich plasma injection in his right shoulder after last Thursday's loss to the Indianapolis Colts for an injury that was initially believed to be a partially torn lat. We'll keep a close eye on the 33-year-old's practice status this week, but barring some sort of setback, it sounds like he'll be out there on Monday night. After a pretty brutal start to his Broncos tenure, Wilson is no longer a must-start QB1 for fantasy managers, especially if he's playing at less than 100 percent health.
