Russell Wilson Expecting Pressure From Cardinals
4 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson expects the Cardinals Defense to bring plenty of pressure in their rematch on Thursday night in Week 11. The Cardinals brought the pressure in the second half of their win over Seattle in the first meeting, sacking him twice in overtime and totaling nine QB hits on Wilson. The Cardinals defense has blitzed 163 times in 2020, which ranks second in the NFL. They enter the week tied for sixth in the NFC in QB pressures (86) and QB knockdowns (28), per Pro Football Reference. Wilson had his worst game of the season in Week 10 against the Rams and hasn't been the MVP candidate he was early in the season the last several weeks. He'll have his hands full with this defense the second time around, but he should be more productive if he gets running back Chris Carson (foot) back. Wilson is still a top-five QB play.
