Russell Wilson A Borderline Fantasy Starter Against Niners
2 years agoThe Denver Broncos offense and quarterback Russell Wilson have gotten off to a very slow start through two weeks of the 2022 season. Through two games, Wilson has a career-low 58.9 completion percentage, 559 passing yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He has just 7.7 yards per attempt and surely doesn't look like the same QB that made nine Pro Bowls in his 10 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. On top of it, he might be without No. 2 receiver Jerry Jeudy (chest) in Week 3 against the San Francisco 49ers. San Fran's stout defense has allowed a league-low 142.5 passing yards per game through two weeks, so Wilson's matchup isn't a great one for Sunday Night Football. Until Denver's offense picks things up, Wilson will be on the QB1/2 borderline.
