Russell Westbrook Remains Out Saturday
Russell Westbrook will not play Saturday against the Phoenix Suns due to a left ankle sprain. There seemed to be reason for optimism as it pertained to Westbrook’s status, but the seven-time All-Star will remain on the shelf for the time being. It will mark his sixth consecutive game missed, giving him eight overall absences on the year, meaning that Dennis Schroder should once again see an increased role against the permeable Phoenix defensive backcourt. Westbrook’s next chance to return will come Monday against the Sacramento Kings.
