Royce Freeman Sees Five Touches In Week 4
4 years agoDenver Broncos running back Royce Freeman carried the ball just three times for six yards and caught both of his targets for six yards in the passing game in the Thursday night win over the Jets. Phillip Lindsay (toe) sat out his third straight game, but he's close to returning and should be back in Week 5 against the Patriots, which means Freeman will go back to being an afterthought in this backfield. These last three games showed that Freeman will only become fantasy relevant for the Broncos if both Melvin Gordon III and Lindsay are out due to injuries. His five touches on Thursday night were a season high so far in 2020.
