Ross Chastain was not going to be denied on Sunday. The Trackhouse Racing driver kept at it, led 31 laps, and survived the wildest final lap of the 2022 season. His Chevy was the fastest car of the day. Considering he had been on the podium on three different tracks previously, a win seemed on the horizon. Sure enough, Chastain made a bold move with two laps to go. Then, the driver used a little bit of physics to nudge A.J. Allmendinger who went into Alex Bowman. Chastain drove away to his first career Cup victory. With this win, his spot in the playoffs is sealed. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
