Ronald Acuna Jr. Remains Out, Not Starting Saturday
Ronald Acuna Jr. (groin) isn't in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the San Diego Padres. He is dealing with groin soreness and remains day-to-day. The 24-year-old superstar will miss his third consecutive game. Marcell Ozuna will start in left field while William Contreras serves as the team's designated hitter. Contreras went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Friday's 11-6 loss to the Padres. The 24-year-old makes an intriguing DFS option at catcher and can be used as a streamer in Saturday's slate. Contreras is slashing .237/.311/.405 with four homers, 12 RBI, and six runs over six games in 2022.
