Robinson Chirinos, Will Harris Could Sign Soon
5 years agoCatcher Robinson Chirinos and relief pitcher Will Harris could come off the market soon. Chirinos is said to be close to making a decision, while Harris has multiple multi-year offers worth $6-7 million annually, according to sources. Chirinos isn't the most polished of defensive catchers, but he did hit 17 home runs in 114 games for Houston last season. He has at least 17 long balls in each of the last three seasons, which shouldn't go unnoticed at a position that lacks much power. Harris was lights-out for the 'Stros in 2019, posting a 1.50 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 9.3 K/9 in 60 innings. He also had four saves. Even if he's not closing out games for a team, Harris will have some fantasy appeal for his ratios and possibly holds with another club.
