Robinson Cano Singles In Second Rehab Game
6 years agoSeattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano went 1-for-4 with a single and a run scored as the designated hitter for Triple-A Tacoma in his second rehab game on Tuesday. He is 2-for-7 with a walk and two singles in his two rehab games. Cano is close to a return from his long suspension, but he's expected to be more of a utility player at third, second and first base. Dee Gordon is locked in at second and Cano won't be eligible to play in the playoffs if Seattle qualifies. Cano should still be owned in all leagues, but he might not play on an everyday basis when he returns.
