Robinson Cano Hits Two Homers And Drives In Four
New York Mets second baseman Robinson Cano remained on fire on Monday hitting two home runs and driving in four runs in the Mets' 11-4 win over the Miami Marlins. Cano went 3-for-4 and also scored three runs. On the season, Cano is now hitting a blistering .412 in 51 at-bats with four home runs and 13 RBI. Cano, who recently returned from the injured list due to a groin issue, has wasted no time picking up right where he left off after a hot start in July. Despite somewhat of a log jam in the Mets' infield with J.D. Davis, Andres Gimenez, and Luis Guillorme all hitting well, the veteran Cano will likely remain a staple in the lineup. Owners should grab Cano in mixed and NL-only formats, if available, and ride this hot streak while it lasts. Whether he is positioned at second base or designated hitter by the Mets, Cano should retain season-long fantasy relevance hitting regularly in the middle of the Mets potent lineup.
