Robby Anderson's Warrant Dropped
7 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson's attorney, Ed O'Donnell, said the warrant issued for his client has been lifted. There was a clerical error by the court and Anderson wasn't notified of his court date, hence his absence Wednesday. His next court date will be on July 19. Anderson isn't facing any felony charges from his January arrest, but is facing misdemeanor reckless driving charges. There's a chance he'll be suspended by the NFL to begin the year. The soon-to-be 25-year-old was New York's most productive receiver last year with 63 catches for 941 yards and seven touchdowns. He should be the top wideout again in 2018, but Terrelle Pryor's presence may spread out the looks. Anderson has upside as a WR2, but New York's uncertain quarterback situation is another thing working against Anderson.
