Robbie Anderson Could Play More Than Expected Thursday
2 years agoNFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports on Thursday that Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Robbie Anderson, who was acquired in a trade from the Carolina Panthers on Monday, could have a baseline of 10 to 15 offensive snaps in his first game with the team on a quick turnaround against the New Orleans Saints. Initial reports suggested that Anderson wouldn't see the field much, but Rapoport suggests that there's a real chance he'll play more than expected on Thursday Night Football and in the coming weeks with Marquise Brown (foot) out indefinitely. Anderson should have an impact on this offense, but with DeAndre Hopkins making his season debut in Week 7 and also with Rondale Moore and A.J. Green in the fold, using Anderson in starting fantasy lineups this week feels foolish.
