Ricky Stenhouse Jr. A Sneaky Pick For Bristol
5 years agoJTG-Daugherty Racing's Ricky Stenhouse Jr. ended a five-race slide and finished fourth in Sunday's Cup Series race at Charlotte. Stenhouse has been wildly inconsistent to begin the season, but the No. 47 has shown some decent speed. Stenhouse now travels to his best non-Superspeedway track -- Bristol Motor Speedway -- where he will line up from the 16th starting spot in Sunday's Food City presents the Supermarket Heroes 500. In 14 career Cup Series starts at BMS, Stenhouse has four top-fives and six top-10's to his credit. If Stenhouse can be reined in, he could easily challenge for a top-10. In all but one of his Bristol starts, Stenhouse has cracked the top 10 at some point in the race. Stenhouse may be a riskier DFS pick, but his track record at Bristol, along with his cost, makes him useful for lineups.
