11 months agoSan Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said that cornerback Richard Sherman (hamstring) will likely be healthy enough to play in Week 3 of the preseason after injuring his hamstring in practice last week. The veteran probably doesn't need many preseason repetitions to begin with, but he should be fine in plenty of time for Week 1. The 30-year-old has become an injury risk for IDP gamers after playing in just nine games in 2017 due to a serious Achilles injury. When healthy, though, Sherman is still one of the better cover corners in the NFL and should help strengthen the team's secondary.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
