The Tampa Bay Rays activated third baseman Matt Duffy (hamstring) from the disabled list on Friday, and he's in the starting lineup against Red Sox starter Drew Pomeranz. In a corresponding move, the team optioned relief pitcher Austin Pruitt to Triple-A Durham. With Duffy back as the regular third baseman, infielder Daniel Robertson will move to a platoon at second base with Joey Wendle. Duffy was hitting a respectable .267 with one homer and seven RBI in 60 at-bats before his injury, and he'll be useful in deep mixed and AL-only leagues as a corner infielder.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
