Raptors, Immanuel Quickley Agree On Five-Year Deal
6 months agoToronto Raptors guard Immanuel Quickley has agreed to sign a new contract that will keep him in Toronto for the next five years. According to Shams Charania, the deal is worth $175 million for five years. Quickley was a restricted free agent and would have hit the free agency market if they couldn't get a deal done by June 30. Instead, the 25-year-old will be sticking around after being traded to the Raptors in the deal that sent OG Anunoby to the New York Knicks. Through 38 games last season, the Kentucky product averaged 18.6 points, 6.8 assists, 4.8 rebounds, 2.8 threes, and 1.8 turnovers per game. This contract solidifies Quickley as a cornerstone piece to the team along with Scottie Barnes and RJ Barrett.
