Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said on Monday that All-Pro defensive end Trey Hendrickson (hip) is doubtful to play in Week 12 against the New England Patriots on Sunday, according to Charlie Goldsmith. Hendrickson injured his hip in Week 8 and hasn't played since. If he misses this Sunday's game against the Patriots, it will be his fourth straight missed game. After getting his long-term contract extension, the 30-year-old pass-rusher has disappointed in 2025, recording four sacks, 16 tackles (11 solo), and a forced fumble in seven games. Hendrickson had back-to-back 17.5-sack seasons for Cincy in 2023 and 2024. He plans to return this season, but Hendrickson might require offseason core-muscle surgery. Even if Hendrickson were to return this weekend, the Bengals' defense/special teams would be one to fade against the first-place Patriots.--Keith Hernandez
