The New York Rangers selected right wing Kaapo Kakko with the second overall pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft on Friday. He managed 22 goals with 38 points across 45 games for TPS Turku of the top Finnish league, and he notched the game-winning goal with just 86 seconds remaining in regulation in the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship against Team USA. Kakko has a chance to step right into the lineup in his first season, and he has top-six potential for the next decade. Fantasy owners in long-term keeper pools who miss out on Hughes will be very pleased to land Kakko.--Daniel Dobish
