Rams Put DeSean Jackson On Waivers
3 years agoThe Los Angeles Rams officially waived wide receiver DeSean Jackson on Tuesday after the team couldn't work out a trade for him before the deadline. Jackson will hope to latch on with another organization as a boom/bust deep threat. The 34-year-old caught eight of his 15 targets for 221 yards (27.6 yards per catch) and one touchdown in seven games (no starts) for the Rams this year. Van Jefferson took over the No. 3 job behind Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods, so Jackson and the Rams are moving on. With D-Jax now gone and rookie Tutu Atwell (shoulder) out for the season, rookie Ben Skowronek could see more playing time as LA's No. 4 receiver moving forward.
