3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers rookie running back Elijah Mitchell (rib) is being listed as questionable to play this Sunday against the division-rival Arizona Cardinals in Week 9 action. Mitchell was limited in practice each of the last two days, so we'd consider him to be on the right side of questionable for the weekend. The 23-year-old has taken over as San Fran's lead back despite the return of JaMycal Hasty two weeks ago. Jeff Wilson Jr. could also be returning to this backfield against Arizona, potentially complicating things, but Mitchell has run for over 100 yards and scored in each of the last two weeks. Until something changes here, he'll remain a strong high-end RB2 choice for fantasy managers.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
