Phillip Lindsay, Bradley Chubb Miss Another Practice
Phillip Lindsay (hip) and defensive end Bradley Chubb (ankle) are sitting out of practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Lindsay will be a game-time decision in Week 16 against the Chargers. He's been bothered by injuries for much of the year, and his performance has suffered in the second half of the season as a result. If he cannot play, Melvin Gordon III should see the lion's share of the backfield work and would have high-end RB2 upside. Royce Freeman would serve as the change of pace. If Lindsay plays, he'd be a low-upside RB4/flex. Lindsay has just 108 yards on 45 carries (2.4 yards per carry) in the last month. An already beat up Broncos Defense would be an even better matchup for rookie quarterback Justin Herbert if Chubb was inactive on Sunday. The pass-rusher ranks 18th among defensive linemen in IDP leagues in overall fantasy points in 2020.
