Washington Nationals shortstop prospect Phillip Glasser has been promoted to Double-A Harrisburg. Glasser is not listed in the Nats' Top 30 prospects per MLB.com, however, he was putting together a nice season at High-A prior to his promotion. The 24-year-old began the year at Single-A and slashed .381/.444/.587 in 15 games, then posted a .305-6-31-47-14 line over 75 games for High-A Wilmington. The former 10th-round pick even dropped his K% from 18.1% to 13.9% while increasing his BB% from 11.1% to 12.3%. With such solid contact rates and a decent power-speed combo, Glasser is someone to keep an eye on to see how he fares at Double-A and whether or not he keeps ascending the ranks.--Jarod Rupp - RotoBaller
