Patrick Mahomes Will Take Part In OTAs
4 years agoKansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (toe) is ahead of schedule in his rehab and will take part in the team's organized team activities that start on May 25, according to a source. The thought right now is that Mahomes will "do some stuff" and be fully ready for training camp in the summer. The 25-year-old superstar signal-caller had surgery after the Super Bowl loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is doing just fine in his rehab and should remain the top quarterback off the board in fantasy drafts this fall. Kansas City's offensive line was one of the primary reasons they were beat in the Super Bowl. The Chiefs addressed their needs up front, but the unit will need to do a much better job protecting Mahomes. The three-time Pro Bowler threw for 4,740 yards, 38 touchdowns and six interceptions in 15 regular season games in 2020.
