Patrick Corbin Struggles Again Thursday
6 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Patrick Corbin took his second straight loss Thursday night, allowing five runs (three earned) on six hits and five walks in five innings as the Nationals fell to the San Diego Padres, 5-4. Corbin struck out six. He has seen his ERA rise from 2.85 to 3.59 in the two starts since his 116-pitch complete game shutout on May 25, but fantasy managers should continue to trust Corbin for his next matchup against the strikeout-prone Chicago White Sox. If that start also goes poorly, it may be time for concern.
