11 months agoPittsburgh Penguins right-winger Patric Hornqvist scored three goals (in a span of 2:47 minutes in the third period) and added an assist in his team's 6-3 victory against the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday. The 31-year-old also recorded a game-high eight shots on goal to go along with a plus-one rating, two hits and two blocks in the contest. Hornqvist's four-point night comes at a great time for a Penguins team who has had issues in getting consistent secondary scoring throughout the season. The Swedish native now has 19 points (12 goals, seven assists) in 23 games and remains valuable in fantasy leagues given his strong peripheral stats (77 shots, 55 hits). He'll look to carry his momentum into the Penguins' next game against the New York Islanders on Thursday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
