Yusei Kikuchi. It's unclear if Bohm's absence is related to a rib injury that he dealt with before the All-Star break. Bohm missed the team's final game of the first half last Sunday before returning on Friday to go 0-for-4 in a 6-5 loss to the Halos. The 28-year-old has experienced a drop in power this season and put together an underwhelming .278/.324/.391 line with eight homers, 42 RBI, and 39 runs scored in 383 plate appearances.

John Rave will man right field in Caglianone's place and bat eighth in a meeting with right-hander
Cal Quantrill. Rave hit the first two home runs of his career in an 8-7 loss to the Marlins on Friday, though he has batted just .194/.280/.333 in 84 trips to the plate. Caglianone has posted even worse numbers since the highly touted prospect made his debut on June 3. The 22-year-old has stumbled out of the gates with a .143/.203/.263 line, four home runs, and seven RBI in 143 plate appearances.

With the July 31 trade deadline nearing, the New York Yankees have inquired about Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman
Eugenio Suarez, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports. Suarez is on several teams' wish lists, but the Diamondbacks are unsure whether they'll sell, according to Heyman. New York is an obvious fit for Suarez: The team has a glaring need at the hot corner, and Suarez is the best potentially available third baseman in the sport. Suarez, 34, is a two-time All-Star who has slashed .251/.322/.567 with 31 home runs and 78 RBI in 395 plate appearances this season. He's also a six-time 30-HR man who could reach the 40 mark for the second time in his career. With the Diamondbacks 5 1/2 games out of a wild-card spot and Suarez due to hit free agency in the offseason, it will be a surprise if he's still wearing their uniform on Aug. 1.

Baltimore Orioles catching prospect
Samuel Basallo (oblique) is dealing with an oblique injury that will prevent him from playing for Triple-A Norfolk this weekend, Jacob Calvin Meyer of the Baltimore Sun reports. It's unclear if Basallo will sit out beyond then, though oblique injuries often lead to lengthy absences. The Orioles are sure to play it safe with Basallo, MLB Pipeline's ninth overall prospect and the No. 1-ranked catcher in the minors. The 20-year-old has dazzled this season at Triple-A, where he has slashed .264/.383/.591 with 19 homers, 48 RBI, 50 runs scored, and 39 walks in 253 plate appearances. Basallo has made a compelling case for his first promotion to the majors and could be up later this season if he stays healthy.

Chicago White Sox utilityman
Brooks Baldwin (back) hit a solo home run in his first rehab game on Friday with Triple-A Charlotte. He finished the game 1-for-3 with a home run, a walk, one strikeout, and an additional run scored. He played seven innings in left field before being replaced. It's unclear when he will return to the White Sox, but he may not need much more work on this rehab if he can continue to hit and get on base. Through 54 games this season, Baldwin has posted a .227/.271//.357 slash line with four home runs hit. He will look to improve on a subpar 28.4% strikeout rate and a below-average 5.3% walk rate. Upon his return, he will likely get a shot to play in the outfield, similar to what he did earlier this season. He is worth a look in the deepest of leagues.

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher
Alek Manoah (elbow) will make his second rehab appearance this Sunday for Single-A Dunedin. He will be looking to improve on his last outing, where he retired just one of the five batters he faced. It was the first time he had competed in a game since undergoing UCL reconstruction in the spring of last year. Before that operation, he had posted a 3.70 ERA over 24 1/3 innings pitched in 2024. Over his career, he has 420 innings pitched and a 3.34 ERA, all with the Toronto Blue Jays. His progress remains something to monitor in dynasty leagues, especially for more opportunities to make the rotation in 2026. Throwing for the planned two innings and sustaining some success would be a big step forward for him here.

Jurickson Profar keeps hitting like he is, he will probably stay in the leadoff spot, with outfielder
Ronald Acuna Jr. in the three-hole. Profar went 1-for-4 with a walk and a run scored in Friday's victory over the New York Yankees, and since returning from his 80-game suspension from performance-enhancing drugs on July 2, he has gone 15-for-52 (.288) with three home runs, four doubles, eight RBI and nine runs scored in 12 games played. Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora said that third baseman
Alex Bregman, who returned from the injured list last Friday after missing 43 games with a right-quadriceps strain, will play four of the six games on the team's road trip coming out of the All-Star break. Bregman started in Friday's series opener against the Chicago Cubs on Friday and went 1-for-4. He will also play on Saturday at Wrigley Field before taking Sunday's series finale off. Cora said the plan is for Bregman to play Monday and Tuesday in Philadelphia against the Phillies and then receive Wednesday off. "He's in a good spot," Cora said. "He was able to bounce back from that series (last weekend vs. Tampa). He felt good on Monday." In his three games since coming off the IL, Bregman has gone 3-for-12 with a double and a strikeout. Detroit Tigers right-hander
Keider Montero will make his first start of the second half on Saturday at Globe Life Field against the hosting Texas Rangers. This will be Montero's eighth start of the season and his first since he picked up his fourth win on July 7 versus the Tampa Bay Rays by throwing six innings of one-run ball with one walk and four strikeouts. The 25-year-old will begin the second half back in the starting rotation, but it might only be for another couple turns through the rotation. Montero has gone 4-1 this year for Detroit with a 4.02 ERA (5.21 FIP) and 1.37 WHIP with 45 strikeouts and 22 walks in 65 innings over 13 appearances (seven starts). He doesn't carry a ton of fantasy upside with his 6.2 K/9 and 3.0 BB/9 marks, but he does have some sleeper appeal as a streamer on Saturday against a Rangers offense that ranks 26th in OPS (.675).

Nick Sandlin (elbow) was placed on the injured list on July 8 after experiencing right elbow inflammation. He had just returned from a lat injury that cost him two months from April to June. The good news here is that he is feeling better and was able to play catch on Friday. He hopes to build on this progress in the coming weeks, progressing to bullpen sessions, live sessions, and a rehab assignment. The 28-year-old still has a long way to go before returning to the Blue Jays' bullpen, but this was a good start.

The New York Yankees have recalled right-handed pitcher
Allan Winans from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, according to MLB.com. The team designated right-hander
Rico Garcia for assignment in the corresponding move. The 29-year-old has spent the majority of 2025 in the minors, where he's logged excellent numbers. In 60 2/3 innings (11 starts) at Triple-A, Winans is 9-0 with 1.19 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, and 66 strikeouts. He's pitched to a much less impressive 5.14 ERA in 46 1/3 career big-league innings. Winans could be a candidate to make a start or two for the Yankees or work in long relief. New York is working through injuries to starters

Toronto Blue Jays right-hander
Bowden Francis (shoulder) will be shut down for the foreseeable future after experiencing shoulder discomfort while ramping up at the team’s player development complex. He will be shut down for at least 10 days. Sidelined since June 15, the 29-year-old had been building himself back up with a planned bullpen session on July 8. Days after he completed the bullpen, he had reportedly suffered renewed soreness. The Jays believe extended time away from baseball activities will help the symptoms subside. Francis has gone (2-8) with a 6.05 ERA and a 1.53 WHIP this season. Fantasy managers in most leagues can move on from Francis as he's not expected to come back until mid-August at the earliest and is unlikely to rejoin Toronto’s starting rotation even when he does return.
