Wyatt Langford Steals Two Bags In Loss To BoSox
Wyatt Langford went 1-for-4 with a single and two steals in Thursday's 5-0 loss to the Boston Red Sox. He's up to six swipes in 2025 to match his home run total. The Florida native has been superb since returning from the IL with an oblique injury, batting first or second in all but two appearances and at least one hit in 13 of 16 games. During that time frame, Langford is a stellar 19-for-59 (.322) with six extra-base hits (four doubles, two homers), four steals, six runs scored, and eight RBI. He's striking out a bit more over that stretch (27.1%), but he's also slightly ticked up his walk rate (11.8%). Considering his lineup placement, it's surprising to see his run figure so low in the hot streak, but that should regress positively if he continues to get on base at an elevated clip.Source: ESPN
Texas Rangers outfielder Trea Turner Swipes Ninth Bag Thursday
Trea Turner went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI in his team's 7-6 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. The North Carolina State product added a single and stole his ninth bag of the season in the victory. Turner did all of his damage in the eighth inning or later on Thursday. He doubled in that frame -- but was left stranded -- and ultimately pushed across the game's winning run in the top of the tenth when he singled in Brandon Marsh off Rays reliever Manuel Rodriguez. He stole second a batter later. The former first-round pick has been excellent recently, tallying at least one knock in 12 of 13 appearances with seven multi-hit efforts -- including three straight. Over that stretch, he's a blistering 23-for-58 (.396) with four extra-base hits, three steals, eight RBI, and ten runs scored. Turner is up to a crisp .310 on the season.Source: ESPN
Philadelphia Phillies shortstop Sean Keys Finding His Swing At High-A
Source: MiLB.com
Toronto Blue Jays infield prospect Sean Keys has begun to find his swing at High-A. Over his last nine contests, Keys has held a strong .333/.385/.639 slash line with five doubles, two home runs, and 13 RBI. During this stretch, he has held an 8:2 K:BB and swiped a bag. However, over his first 15 games with High-A Vancouver, Keys has posted a modest .170/.362/.264 line with just three extra-base hits (one home run). Last summer, the No. 19-ranked prospect in the Toronto system spent his entire debut season with Low-A. Across 22 games with Low-A, Keys posted a .293/.378/.451 line. The Blue Jays drafted Keys in the fourth round of the 2024 MLB Draft. Given his steady progress, Keys could be in the mix to move up to Double-A in the second half of the season.Jarren Duran Knocks In Run In Win
Jarren Duran went 0-for-3 with an RBI and a strikeout in Thursday's 5-0 win over the Texas Rangers. The 28-year-old has scuffled a bit recently, going 1-for-16 over his last four outings. Duran's mini-slump comes after a hot stretch over the past few weeks in which he hit .317 (27-for-85) with at least one knock in 17 of 19 contests. He dealt with a cold spell in May of 2024 before he really turned it on in the summer months, so we know he's capable of bouncing back after a drought. Furthermore, he had out-produced his xBA over the last two years and is underperforming it right now, signaling he could rebound quickly. That tracks, considering his average exit velocity and hard-hit rates are better than they were last season, with a lower strikeout percentage (19.4%).Source: ESPN
Boston Red Sox outfielder Henry Bolte Filling The Stat Sheet At Double-A
Henry Bolte has been filling the stat sheet at Double-A Midland. Over his last nine contests, Bolte has held a strong .344/.488/.500 slash line with two doubles, one home run, and six stolen bases. During this stretch, he has held an 11:8 K:BB. Through 30 games this season, the 21-year-old has posted a solid .299/.397/.449 slash line with four doubles, four home runs, and 12 swiped bags. Last summer, Bolte made his Double-A debut but held a lower .252/.332/.396 line with the same number of home runs (4) across a much higher 54-game sample. Given his steady progress this season, fantasy managers should expect Bolte to push for a promotion to Triple-A Las Vegas in the coming weeks. However, the No. 8-ranked prospect in the system will likely have to wait until 2026 to contend for his MLB debut.Source: MiLB.com
Athletics outfield prospect Ryan Clifford Goes Deep In Second Straight Game
Ryan Clifford has gone deep in back-to-back games at Double-A Binghamton. Over these two games, Clifford has gone 5-for-10 at the dish with three runs and five RBI. However, prior to this recent power surge, Clifford held a modest 0.80/.179/.080 slash line over his last eight contests. During this stretch, Clifford tallied just two hits (both singles). Through the first 27 games of the Double-A regular season, Clifford has held a .228/.330/.435 slash line with four doubles and five round-trippers. Last season, Clifford held a similar .231/.359/.456 slash line across 98 games with Double-A Binghamton. If Clifford can continue to find his power swing, he should be in the mix to join Triple-A in the coming weeks.Source: MiLB.com
New York Mets first base prospect Jesus Made Performing Well At Low-A
Jesus Made has looked quite comfortable during his first taste of Low-A. Through the first 22 games of the regular season, the 18-year-old has held a strong .295/.404/.455 slash line with nine doubles, one triple, three home runs, and nine stolen bases. Made scored 18 runs, brought in 15, and held a solid 22:14 K:BB. Over his last nine contests, the No. 2-ranked prospect in the system has been swinging a hot bat, posting a stellar .342/.444/.500 slash line with two round-trippers. Last season, the budding star spent his entire campaign in the Dominican Summer League, where he held a .331/.458/.554 line across 51 contests. He is a name to closely monitor in dynasty leagues as he appears to be a budding superstar in the Milwaukee system.Source: MiLB.com
Milwaukee Brewers infield prospect Gunnar Henderson Singles In Loss To Twins
Gunnar Henderson went 1-for-5 with a single in his team's 5-2 loss to the Minnesota Twins. The Alabama native has had some trouble getting going this season, but he's collected at least one hit in 11 of 12 contests, including nine in a row before Tuesday's outing. It's an encouraging stretch, though he's only recorded one extra-base hit since the calendar turned to May (double). After getting moved out of the leadoff spot about a month ago, he found himself back there against the Twins on Thursday. While the former second-round pick hasn't been downright dreadful, he's still not performing like a first-round pick in fantasy -- a price many managers paid this offseason. A silver lining is that he's hitting the ball harder on average thus far (94.4 MPH average exit velocity), and could still be shaking off the rust of his limited spring training.Source: ESPN
Baltimore Orioles shortstop Otto Kemp Making Strong Case For MLB Promotion
Otto Kemp has continued to hit very well at Triple-A and is making a strong case for an early-season MLB promotion. Through his first 35 games of the Triple-A regular season, Kemp has posted an impressive .331/.423/.662 slash line with 14 doubles, one triple, and 10 long balls. He is the only player with at least 25 extra-base hits at any level of the minor leagues. Kemp has also swiped five bags but held a modest 44:15 K:BB. During his first taste of Triple-A action last summer, the No. 24-ranked prospect in the system held an underwhelming .200/.333/.244 slash line with just two doubles across 13 games. Fantasy managers should continue to keep an eye on his production at Lehigh Valley, as he could push for an earlier-than-expected MLB debut. Given his power upside, he would be worth adding in standard leagues when he gets the call.Source: MiLB.com
Philadelphia Phillies infield prospect Eduardo Tait Heating Up At Low-A
Eduardo Tait is beginning to heat up at Low-A. On Thursday, the No. 4-ranked prospect in the system went 3-for-5 with a triple and an RBI. Over his last nine contests, the 18-year-old backstop has held an impressive .308/.317/.590 slash line with three doubles, one triple, and two long balls. During this stretch, Tait has tallied eight RBI and held a 10:1 K:BB. Through the first 24 games of the Low-A regular season, the No. 90-ranked prospect in the sport on MLB.com held a solid .265/.315/.531 slash line. Given his current production, fantasy managers should expect Tait to be in contention to reach High-A in the coming weeks. While he remains several seasons away from his MLB debut, he could develop into one of the top catching prospects in the sport.Source: MiLB.com
Philadelphia Phillies catching prospect Junior Caminero Blasts His Seventh Home Run
Junior Caminero went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk, and two RBI in Thursday's 7-6 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. The home run was Caminero's seventh home run of the season, and it came in the first inning off Phillies left-hander Jesus Luzardo, who has been excellent so far in 2025. It has been an odd season for Caminero, as he slashes .298/.327/.564 at home, but .122/.159/.171 on the road. Perhaps it's just something fantasy managers will want to keep an eye on, as the Rays' interim home field in 2025, George M. Steinbrenner Field, has been a hitter-friendly environment thus far in 2025. Nonetheless, Caminero is slashing .244/.276/.444 on the season, and has flashed signs of his excellence; now he needs to put it together more consistently weekly. Next up for the Rays and Caminero is a three-game home series against the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday.Source: ESPN
Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Rece Hinds Goes Yard Against the Braves On Thursday
Cincinnati Reds outfielder Rece Hinds went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a double, and a walk in Thursday's 5-4 loss to the Atlanta Braves. Hinds was recently called up due to the injury toread more...
Brandon Pfaadt Gets His Sixth Win On Thursday
Brandon Pfaadt (6-2) was solid Thursday evening against a red-hot Los Angeles Dodgers offense. Through 6 ⅓ innings, he only allowed four hits, three walks, and struck out six batters. It was an excellent rebound for Pfaadt, who was tagged for six earned runs in his previous start against the Philadelphia Phillies. This outing lowered his season ERA to 3.28. The three walks were unusual for Pfaadt, as so far in 2025, he ranks in the 85th percentile in walks allowed (5.1 percent), so look for him to clean that up in his next outing, which is tentatively lined up in San Francisco next Tuesday to take on the another division opponent, the Giants. This will be another tough outing for Pfaadt, as the Giants are solid against right-handed pitchers (.243/.326/.396) and rank ninth in the MLB in runs scored. Still, Pfaadt has earned the opportunity to be matchup-proof for his fantasy managers in 2025.Source: ESPN
Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Gabriel Moreno Hits A Grand Slam Thursday
Gabriel Moreno hit his first home run of the 2025 season, and it came at a good time. He took Yoshinobu Yamamoto deep in the fourth inning to open up the scoring and give the Diamondbacks a 4-0 lead. The Diamondbacks would hold on to win 5-3 against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the first game of their four-game series. In addition to the home run, Moreno hit two singles and finished his evening going 3-for-4. The productive evening raised Moreno's slash line to .253/.333/.319. Moreno has now hit 14 career home runs in 906 plate appearances, so fantasy managers should continue to lean on Moreno being a catcher who hits for average and not for a lot of power, which is evident by his .319 slugging in 2025. Nonetheless, with his low strikeout rate (16.9 percent in his career) and solid career average (.277), Moreno remains a decent option for fantasy managers in deeper leagues.Source: ESPN
Arizona Diamondbacks catcher Daulton Varsho Smacks His Third Home Run Of The Season
Daulton Varsho enjoyed a nice evening on Thursday, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run scored, and one home run. The home run was a solo shot in the eighth inning, which extended the Blue Jays' lead to 8-5, as they ended up holding on to avoid the three-game sweep against the Los Angeles Angels. The home run was Varscho's third of the season, as he raised his slashing line to .273/.346/.727. Varsho was activated off the injured list on April 29, and over the past seven games since being activated, he has been hitting for power and providing the Blue Jays with the offensive spark they need. Look for Varsho to keep it going as the Blue Jays travel to Seattle for a three-game series against the Mariners that starts on Friday.Source: ESPN
