Max Clark has earned a promotion to High-A West Michigan. Clark, 19, is the No. 10 prospect in all of baseball per MLB Pipeline and the Tigers top farmhand. The 19-year-old earned the promotion with a strong showing at Single-A Lakeland where he hit .286 with seven homers, 58 RBI and 26 stolen bases. The left-hander has shown why he was selected third overall in the 2023 draft with his impressive play thus far and it would not be a surprise if he rises through the Tigers system quickly. With plus-grades across the board by scouts, the only thing left for improvement is showing more power, which should come as Clark's body matures. As one of the best prospects in the game, Clark should be rostered in dynasty leagues, as he could be worth the wait in the long run.

5 days agoAtlanta Braves pitching prospect
Drue Hackenberg had a night to remember for Double-A Mississippi on Sunday. The right-hander was on top of his game with seven innings of one-run ball, in which he allowed three hits with no walks and a 2024 MiLB single-game record 16 strikeouts. It was an incredible performance for the Braves No. 9 prospect per MLB Pipeline. It was only his fourth start in Double-A, as he opened the season for High-A Rome. Between the two levels, Hackenberg has combined for a 3.59 ERA with 95 strikeouts in 80 1/3 innings over 16 starts. Hackenberg still has some more work to do before getting to the big leagues with a projected ETA of 2026, but Sunday's dominant performance is a reminder why the Braves paid more than the slotted value for last years second-round pick. For now, he should only be of interest of managers in dynasty leagues.

Aaron Judge smacked his league-leading 35th home run of the season and pitched in a single in a 6-4 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays Sunday afternoon. The home run was of the three-run variety which puts his 2024 total at an absurd 89 RBI sitting here with about two and a half months left of the regular season. After a brutal first month of the season Judge looks like the MVP version of himself that set the American League home run record just two seasons ago. It's only been three games, but he's already off to a hot start in the second half with a 4-for-10 line with one home run and four RBI and three walks.
Juan Soto's presence in the lineup has eased the offensive burden on Judge's shoulders this season and he should have no problem running away the American League MVP this season barring any injuries or major slumps.

David Fry and proceeded to retire
Bo Naylor. Then he returned for the ninth inning to retire the 1-2-3 hitters in the Guardians batting order to complete the 2-1 victory. The 33-year-old closer has been a dream scenario replacement for
Josh Hader who left via free agency in the offseason. Suarez has a 4-1 record with a 1.62 ERA and a 0.87 WHIP in 39 innings pitched. Suarez has been arguably the best closer in baseball this season and should have no problem locking down the closer role for the remainder of the season and maybe for even more seasons to come.

Byron Buxton has been hitting everything that comes his way lately. On Sunday, Buxton went 2-for-5 with two solo home runs in the loss to the Milwaukee Brewers. Fantasy managers that stuck with Buxton are finally being rewarded for their patience. Buxton is slashing .364/.413/.700 over his last month of games. He has earned himself a slot in the three-hole in the lineup, which might stay that way. Who knows how long it will last, but fantasy managers should continue riding out this hot stretch with Buxton.

Tyler Fitzgerald has been showing off his pop at the plate over the last few games. On Sunday, Fitzgerald continued his hot stretch with a solo home run in the third inning. It marked the third straight game that Fitzgerald has hit a ball over the wall. Before this, Fitzgerald was mainly only playing against left-handed pitchers since his call-up last month. Possibly, the Giants give him more playing time with him showing an ability to hit right-handed pitching as well.

Carlos Estevez was called upon to protect a three-run lead versus the Oakland Athletics on Sunday. The right-hander walked the leadoff hitter but retired the next three batters to record his 18th save of the season. The 31-year-old is having a nice year in what has been a down year for the Halos. There is a good chance that Estevez does get moved at the upcoming trade deadline. That being said, his fantasy value as a closer could be ending. It's unknown whether or not his new team would want him as their primary ninth-inning option. That being said, fantasy managers should hold Estevez until further notice.

Miguel Andujar has been put together a quietly solid season so far. On Sunday, Andujar went 3-for-5 with a solo home run in what ended up being a loss for Oakland. The 29-year-old smacked a 377-foot home run off
Carson Fulmer to give his team the lead. This season, Andujar is slashing .304/.327/.419 with four home runs and 24 RBI in 47 games. He could be a candidate to be moved at the trade deadline with the A's rebuilding their roster. However, a move elsewhere could still mean a part-time role which probably wouldn't help his fantasy value.

Ramon Urias (neck) was held out of the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Texas Rangers. It sounds like the plan was for Urias to start but he was scratched due to neck soreness. This shouldn't be the type of issue that holds Urias out of the lineup for too long. O's manager Brandon Hyde said the original plan was to give
Gunnar Henderson the day off. However, Hyde needed Henderson to play on Sunday with Urias being unavailable. Fantasy managers will have to check back ahead of their next game to see if Urias is able to return.

Miguel Rojas (forearm) was removed early during Sunday's game against the Boston Red Sox. The veteran infielder was taken out of the contest due to tightness in his forearm. The severity of the injury is unknown as the team will likely have Rojas undergo further testing. In his absence,

Chris Taylor entered the game to play third base. Both players could see increased playing time if Rojas is forced to miss time.

Ty France has been placed on outright waivers by the organization on Sunday. This comes as a bit of a shock considering France was an All-Star a few years ago. However, the 30-year-old has been slumping at the plate over the last two seasons. If he passes through waivers unclaimed, Seattle would be able to outright him to Triple-A or France can refuse and become a free agent. Despite his recent struggles there should be a contending organization willing to give him a shot. This season, France is slashing .224/.313/.351 with eight home runs and 31 RBI in 87 games. The Mariners appear to be committed to
Tyler Locklear as their full-time option at first base.
