Boston Red Sox third baseman Alex Bregman had a productive day in a 4-3 loss to the Seattle Mariners on Thursday. Bregman went 2-for-3 with a homer, a walk, and two RBI but it wasn't quite enough in the close loss to Seattle. The veteran infielder hit a solo homer off Seattle starter Bryan Woo in the first inning and later added an RBI single in the third inning. Bregman is off to a hot start for the Red Sox this season, hitting .320 with five homers, 17 runs, 21 RBI, and one steal. He will look to stay hot as the Red Sox begin a weekend series against the Cleveland Guardians.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

San Francisco Giants outfielder Mike Yastrzemski had a big day in a 6-5 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday. Yastrzemski went 2-for-4 with a homer, a walk, two runs, and two RBI to help power the Giants to the one-run win over Milwaukee. The veteran outfielder launched a solo homer to right field in the third inning to tie the game at 2-2. Yastrzemski is now hitting .280 with four homers, 12 runs, 13 RBI, and two stolen bases across 71 at-bats this season. He will look to stay hot as the Giants open up a weekend series against the Texas Rangers starting Friday.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez had a big day in his team's Thursday doubleheader against the Colorado Rockies. Perez combined to go 5-for-8 with four doubles, one walk, three runs, and four RBI as the Royals swept the doubleheader against Colorado. The veteran catcher is now hitting .220 with eight doubles, two homers, eight runs, and 14 RBI across 100 at-bats in 2025. He got off to a slow start this season but hopefully his big day on Thursday will get his bat going for fantasy gamers.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Colorado Rockies outfielder Jordan Beck had a big day in a Thursday doubleheader against the Kansas City Royals. Across both games of the doubleheader, Beck combined to go 3-for-6 with three homers, a walk, three runs, and three RBI. Beck was one of the few bright spots on the day as the Rockies dropped both games of the doubleheader. The 24-year-old outfielder is now hitting .250 with three homers, seven runs, seven RBI, and three steals across 36 at-bats in 2025. Beck will look to stay hot as the Rockies open up a weekend series against the Cincinnati Reds.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Los Angeles Dodgers catching prospect Dalton Rushing notched his second four-hit game of the season, going 4-for-5 with a double, a home run, one RBI, and two runs scored on Thursday for Triple-A Oklahoma City. The home run was his third of the year, and the 5-foot-11 backstop is slashing .268/.377/.411 in 17 games. The former second-round draft pick has mostly played catcher this season, but with his path to the majors blocked by Will Smith, he's also logged some time at first base, left field, and DH, which should give the Dodgers some options in the way they could find at-bats when they finally decide to call him up. The Dodgers' top offensive prospect is one of the top prospect stashes for those looking for reinforcements.--Jarod Rupp - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com

Athletics infield prospect Max Muncy went 2-for-6 with a pair of doubles and three runs scored in his first game action back at Triple-A Las Vegas on Thursday. The A's optioned Muncy to Triple-A on Wednesday after he began the year 12-for-68 (.176) with a 29.6 percent strikeout rate compared to just a 4.2 percent walk rate in the majors. With a strong showing at Triple-A, the former first-round draft pick will likely get another shot in the big leagues this year, but the 22-year-old isn't a stash candidate at this time.--Jarod Rupp - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com

Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Michael Lorenzen earned his second win with a quality start in a 6-2 win over the Rockies in the second game of a doubleheader on Thursday. He allowed one run on five hits and four walks over six innings while striking out seven. Although the four walks aren't pretty, Lorenzen got the job done in what was a solid start overall. It was his second start of the season with seven strikeouts and his fourth where he allowed three runs or less. He will carry a 3.90 ERA and 1.45 WHIP into his next start, currently lined up to be against the Rays.--Jeremy Heist - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Arizona Diamondbacks relief pitcher A.J. Puk (elbow) will likely miss multiple months in a best-case scenario, reports Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic. There is no official word yet on a timetable from the Diamondbacks, but Puk is currently awaiting word from two orthopedic doctors on the severity of his elbow injury. Seeking multiple opinions on an elbow injury is never a good sign, and Arizona's bullpen will likely be without Puk for a while. For fantasy purposes, this makes Justin Martinez a full-time closer who should be rostered in most leagues.--Jeremy Heist - RotoBallerSource: Nick Piecoro

Washington Nationals pitching prospect Marquis Grissom Jr. picked up his fifth save of the season for Double-A Harrisburg on Thursday despite allowing a run on one hit and a walk. The righty struck out two batters in the appearance as well. The five saves are the second-most in all the minor leagues, and the 6-foot-2 hurler owns a 2.08 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, and a 3:8 BB:K in eight-and-two-thirds innings pitched. A strong showing between High-A and Double-A last season catapulted him into the Nationals' top 30 prospects to No. 23, and continued success should push him up to Triple-A before long. MLB.com's Top Prospects list has an ETA of 2025 for Grissom, and with Washington's bullpen producing the worst ERA and WHIP in all of baseball, it's not a stretch to think he could be an asset in the majors this season. His fantasy relevance is likely limited to leagues that reward holds, though, unless Kyle Finnegan were to falter.--Jarod Rupp - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com

Baltimore Orioles relief pitcher Felix Bautista secured his third save of the season in a 2-1 victory over the Nationals on Thursday. He gave up one hit and struck out one. Outside of allowing two runs on March 31, his six other appearances have all been scoreless. His ERA is now down to 2.57 as he looks to return to form as one of the best relievers in baseball. His eight strikeouts and six walks on the year aren't quite up to par with the 110:26 K:BB he posted in 2023, but he appears locked in as Baltimore's closer moving forward.--Jeremy Heist - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Shane Smith earned his first win of the season with five scoreless innings against the Twins in a 3-0 victory on Wednesday. He allowed four hits and a walk while striking out seven. This was his second scoreless outing in five starts this season and the seven strikeouts marked a new personal best. He now holds a 2.30 ERA and 0.95 WHIP on the season and is showing off some upside in his rookie year. He'll look to carry this momentum into his next start, currently lined up to face the Brewers.--Jeremy Heist - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Boston Red Sox outfield prospect Roman Anthony went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, a walk, and three runs scored on Thursday for Triple-A Worcester. The shoulder soreness that he was reportedly dealing with recently, which limited him to DH duties, appears to be a thing of the past, as he was out patrolling right field on Thursday. The 20-year-old has now hit safely in 12 of his last 14 games, with seven of those going down as multi-hit efforts, and is now slashing .308/.444/.590 with five home runs and a pair of stolen bases over 22 games. Boston's top prospect (MLB No. 2) continues to march towards a major league debut, so fantasy managers who still have an available bench spot should stash the 6-foot-3 slugger before it is too late.--Jarod Rupp - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com

Seattle Mariners relief pitcher Andres Munoz locked down his ninth save of the season on Thursday, pitching a scoreless ninth in a 4-3 win over the Red Sox. He struck out two and walked one. This extended his scoreless streak to 13 innings, as he hasn't given up a single run all season. He is also maintaining a 0.85 WHIP with 17 strikeouts, making him one of the most dominant relievers in baseball so far in 2025. His nine saves are tied for second-most in the league, and there will be plenty more to come as he has a firm hold on the closing role for Seattle.--Jeremy Heist - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Miami Marlins outfield prospect Jakob Marsee went 2-for-5 with an RBI and two stolen bases on Thursday for Triple-A Jacksonville. The 23-year-old has now hit safely in nine of the last 11 games, going 12-for-37 (.324) over that stretch, slashing .240/.412/.427 on the year. A strong walk rate of 17.0 percent has provided that elite OBP, which has in turn allowed him to unleash his stolen base prowess, now with 18 after Thursday's game, which is the most in Triple-A by far. Fantasy managers in NL-only leagues that are in need of steals should keep an eye out for a promotion in the coming months, as the former Arizona Fall League MVP could provide a boost as soon as he arrives.--Jarod Rupp - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com

New York Mets infielder Jeff McNeil (oblique) has been activated from the 10-day injured list on Thursday. McNeil appears to be ready for the weekend series after missing the beginning of the season due to an oblique issue. The veteran infielder hit .393 during his rehab assignment, so hopefully he can keep the good times rolling on the big league roster. The assumption is that McNeil will see regular playing time against right-handed pitching. Fellow infielder Brett Baty was optioned to Triple-A to make room for McNeil on the active roster. It sounds like McNeil should play quite frequently, but fantasy managers can still take a wait-and-see approach here.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Anthony DiComo
