Falcons Exercise Fifth-Year Option On Drake London
The Atlanta Falcons exercised the fifth-year option on wide receiver Drake London on Wednesday, a source tells ESPN's Adam Schefter. This was a no-brainer decision after London posted career-highs in catches (100), targets (158), receiving yards (1,271) and touchdowns (nine) in 17 starts in 2024 in his third year in the NFL. The 23-year-old eighth overall pick in 2022 will now be under contract with the Falcons through the 2026 season, but he could sign a long-term extension well before that if he has another big year in 2025. It was impressive performance for London last year, especially when considering that quarterback Kirk Cousins fell flat in his first year back from an Achilles tear and was benched for rookie Michael Penix Jr. late in the season. It's good news that he caught 22 passes for 352 yards and two TDs in the final three games with Penix. London is a surefire WR1 in fantasy.

Jaydon Blue Waived by Eagles on Tuesday
The Philadelphia Eagles shook up their backfield depth a bit more on Tuesday, waiving running backs Jaydon Blue and Carson Steele (shoulder) and signing running back Elijah Mitchell to their practice squad in a corresponding move, the team announced. Kyle Monangai Misses Another Practice on Tuesday
Chicago Bears running back Kyle Monangai (thumb, toe) is missing practice for a second straight day on Tuesday, according to Sean Hammond of The Chicago Tribune. Monangai looks set to miss a third straight game this Thursday night when the Bears host the New England Patriots to kick off Week 7 action. The 24-year-old second-year back was also listed as a non-participant during the team's walkthrough practice on Monday, so he will need to return to practice on Wednesday to have any shot at gaining clearance to be active on Thursday night. The bruising RB should be rostered in most fantasy football leagues as the backfield complement to starter D'Andre Swift, but you should keep him on your bench again this week. Monangai is dealing with a thumb injury and turf toe. If he is forced to miss a third straight game, Roschon Johnson will be in play as an RB3/flex option after he had a surprisingly big role alongside Swift in the Week 6 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Johnson had a season-high 13 carries for 51 yards and his first rushing touchdown of the year, adding two catches for 34 yards as a receiver.

However, the Eagles' maneuvering on Tuesday could indicate that the team is confident in Barkley returning in Week 7 against the Dallas Cowboys. Deshaun Watson a Viable QB Streamer to Target on Waivers
Across six games in 2026, Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson has completed 63.8% of his pass attempts for 1,174 yards, seven touchdowns, and two interceptions. The 31-year-old has also added some fantasy value with his legs, rushing for 196 yards on 45 attempts. After a relatively hot start to the year, Watson's production has slowed down of late. Over the last two weeks, totaled just 319 passing yards and one touchdown while leading the Cleveland offense to just 25 total points. However, the Browns have a significantly easier matchup coming up in Week 7 against the Tennessee Titans. Through six weeks, Tennessee ranks in the bottom 10 in the NFL in yards per pass attempt allowed (7.5). Given the matchup, Watson could be a solid quarterback streamer for fantasy managers to target on the waiver wire ahead of Week 7.

Will Saquon Barkley Become a Trade Candidate?
The Philadelphia Eagles and general manager Howie Roseman are in an unfamiliar position late in October as we approach the Nov. 10 trade deadline and could be looking to sell to other championship contenders after they lost starting quarterback Jalen Hurts for the season due to blood clots. The Athletic's Zach Berman writes that a tougher debate would be how the Eagles respond to aging star running back Saquon Barkley and his potential trade market. Barkley is in his age-29 season and presumably has fewer prime years ahead of him than behind him. The former first-rounder and three-time Pro Bowler led the NFL with 2,005 rushing yards on a league-high 345 carries in 2024 in his first year in Philly, and although he hit the 1,000-yard rushing mark again in 2025 for the fifth time in his career, Barkley and the Eagles' offense was nowhere near what it was the previous season. He is averaging a healthy 5.1 yards per carry on 36 rushing attempts for 182 yards through four games this year, but he has yet to score a touchdown and has missed the last two contests due to a hamstring injury. A contending NFL team looking to bolster its backfield could come calling for Barkley soon, but it is currently unclear if the Eagles would be willing to listen.

Brandon McManus Signing with Rams
The Los Angeles Rams are signing veteran kicker Brandon McManus, per Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. Los Angeles released struggling kicker Harrison Mevis following their loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 5, and then lost replacement kicker Blake Grupe (knee) to a season-ending knee injury during their Week 6 defeat at the hands of the Arizona Cardinals. Jalen Brooks a Deep-League Waiver-Wire Target Amid Role Increase
Across the first four games of the 2026 season, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Jalen Brooks saw just one target and did not log a single reception. However, Arizona's trade of wideout Marvin Harrison Jr. to the Houston Texans had moved Brooks into a much larger role in the Cardinals' passing game. Over the last two weeks, Brooks has recorded four catches for 46 yards on 10 targets. Dolphins Sign Kicker Zane Gonzalez
The Miami Dolphins announced on Tuesday that they have signed free-agent kicker Zane Gonzalez to their practice squad. In a corresponding move, the team released Riley Patterson, who served as their starting placekicker for the first five games of the season. Gonzalez is returning to the Dolphins after he was cut on Aug. 19 with an injury settlement after he was placed on Injured Reserve. In Miami's lowly offense, fantasy managers should continue to ignore Gonzalez.
