Dalton Rushing Homers In Four-Hit Game
Los Angeles Dodgers catching prospect Dalton Rushing notched his second four-hit game of the season, going 4-for-5 with a double, a home run, one RBI, and two runs scored on Thursday for Triple-A Oklahoma City. The home run was his third of the year, and the 5-foot-11 backstop is slashing .268/.377/.411 in 17 games. The former second-round draft pick has mostly played catcher this season, but with his path to the majors blocked by Will Smith, he's also logged some time at first base, left field, and DH, which should give the Dodgers some options in the way they could find at-bats when they finally decide to call him up.
