Athletics infield prospect Max Muncy went 2-for-6 with a pair of doubles and three runs scored in his first game action back at Triple-A Las Vegas on Thursday. The A's optioned Muncy to Triple-A on Wednesday after he began the year 12-for-68 (.176) with a 29.6 percent strikeout rate compared to just a 4.2 percent walk rate in the majors. With a strong showing at Triple-A, the former first-round draft pick will likely get another shot in the big leagues this year, but the 22-year-old isn't a stash candidate at this time.--Jarod Rupp
