Hassan Haskins Could Have Fantasy Value In Week 13
Hassan Haskins could have some sneaky fantasy value in a Week 13 game against the Atlanta Falcons. With starter J.K. Dobbins (knee) out for this week, Haskins should mix in with fellow running backs Gus Edwards and Kimani Vidal. Last week, after Dobbins was forced to leave the game, Edwards played most of the early downs and Haskins played passing downs and red zone situations. Assuming Vidal is active this week, which he should be, he'll likely eat into Haskins' role, but both could still end up with some solid fantasy production especially in PPR leagues. Haskins is available for free in almost every league right now.Source: RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers running back Gus Edwards Likely To Start In Week 13
Gus Edwards is expected to get the start in a Week 13 game against the Atlanta Falcons. Edwards spent some time on IR this season, but even when healthy, he's played mostly a depth role behind starter J.K. Dobbins (knee). With Dobbins out this week though, Edwards should get bumped up to the starting role, at least on clear rushing downs. He's not a factor in the passing game, so his usage will be somewhat game script dependent, and he may need to find the end zone in order to put up a significant fantasy score. Last week, after Dobbins was injured, Edwards played a lot of early downs, but Hassan Haskins was in for passing plays and red zone drives. Edwards is a risky play with a somewhat high floor but not a high ceiling.Source: RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers running back Justin Herbert Set For A Good Game In Week 13
Justin Herbert is set for a good matchup in a Week 13 game against the Atlanta Falcons. Herbert ended up as the overall fantasy QB12 last week against the Ravens, giving him five straight QB1 finishes. This week is another good matchup against a Falcons defense that has allowed the eighth-most points to opposing quarterbacks. With starting running back J.K. Dobbins (knee) out for this game, the Chargers offense will likely rely on Herbert's arm a bit more, but we may see him work in a few more rushing attempts as well. All in all, Herbert is shaping up as a top-half QB1 this week.Source: RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers quarterback J.K. Dobbins Officially Ruled Out For Week 13
J.K. Dobbins (knee) has officially been ruled out for Week 13's contest against the hosting Atlanta Falcons on Sunday after he was unable to practice all week. Dobbins sprained his left MCL in the Monday night loss to the Baltimore Ravens, so it's not a surprise that he won't be available this weekend. Depending on how he recovers, fantasy managers could be without LA's lead back again next week when the Chargers head on the road to Kansas City to take on the division-rival Chiefs for the second time this year. The Bolts will likely play it safe with Dobbins, considering his lengthy injury history. With Dobbins out this Sunday, Gus Edwards should lead the LA backfield in touches, with rookie Kimani Vidal and Hassan Haskins battling for change-of-pace work. Fantasy managers should view Edwards as a touchdown-dependent RB3/flex this week.Source: Los Angeles Chargers
Los Angeles Chargers running back Will Dissly Logs Limited Practice Thursday
Will Dissly (groin) upgraded to a limited participant in practice on Thursday. He had been a non-participant Wednesday. Dissly has played quite well lately, catching 13 passes for 157 yards and one touchdown over his last three games. Fantasy managers invested in Dissly's status should check back on Friday to see if he ends up with any sort of injury designation. At the very least, he's trending in the right direction and ranks as a mid-to-high fantasy TE2 for the time being.Source: Los Angeles Chargers
Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly Does Not Practice On Wednesday
Will Dissly (knee) did not practice on Wednesday with a knee injury. The tight end did not show any sign of this injury on Monday evening as he was deployed as the clear TE1 in the Los Angeles offense. In this game, Dissly brought in all four of his targets for 47 yards. Since Week 7, Dissly has begun to see a drastic increase in targets as he has averaged 6.2 per game during this span which is an increase compared to the 3.0 he saw per game during the first six games of the season. Over his past three games, Dissly has caught at least four passes in each game and averaged 11.6 PPR points per game. If Dissly can suit up this weekend, fantasy managers should view him as a low-end TE1 facing the Atlanta Falcons.Source: Los Angeles Chargers

J.K. Dobbins Ruled Out For Week 13, Could Miss More Time
J.K. Dobbins (knee) has been diagnosed with a knee sprain, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. He has been ruled out for Week 13 against the Atlanta Falcons and could miss additional time, too. It's crushing news for the veteran running back who was in the midst of a potential Comeback Player of the Year campaign. Numerous injuries held Dobbins to just nine games over the three previous seasons, and he was already at 11 games played when he picked up his latest injury on Monday night. The 25-year-old has been a fringe top-12 fantasy running back this season and will return to the starting role once he's healthy again. In the meantime, Gus Edwards will step up as the leader within Los Angeles' backfield.Source: Ian Rapoport
Los Angeles Chargers running back Chargers Defense Struggles In Week 12 Loss
Source: ESPN.com
The Los Angeles Chargers defense struggled in a Week 12 loss on Monday Night Football against the Baltimore Ravens. The Bolts defensive unit ended up recording one sack and...that was it. They allowed 30 points and allowed the Ravens to essentially run the ball at will. All of that was good for a standard defensive fantasy score of negative one. The Chargers have had one of the best defenses in the NFL this season and it has translated to an excellent fantasy asset, but it was just not there in this one, as they allowed 212 rushing yards and 177 yards through the air. They'll have an easier matchup coming up in Week 13 against the Atlanta Falcons.Cameron Dicker Makes Five Kicks In Week 12 Win
Cameron Dicker had a big game on Monday Night Football in Week 12 against the Baltimore Ravens. He attempted five kicks and made all five of them, keeping the Chargers in the game while their offense was struggling to move the ball too far beyond midfield. Dicker made both of his extra point attempts and also made all three of his field goal tries. His field goal kicks were from 42, 52, and another 52 yards out. He remains one of the most consistent fantasy and real life kickers and should again be a top-10 option at the position in Week 13 against the Atlanta Falcons.Source: ESPN.com
Los Angeles Chargers kicker Quentin Johnston Goose Eggs In A Week 12 Loss
Quentin Johnston had a rough performance in a Week 12 loss against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football. Johnston was targeted five times and came up with zero catches for zero yards. Several of the balls thrown his way were placed perfectly by quarterback Justin Herbert, but Johnston regressed to his rookie year drop issues, where passes thrown right at his chest in clearly open ground with no defenders nearby turn into incomplete passes. Johnston was expected to have a big game, as the Ravens defense has struggled all year against similar wide receivers, but QJ ended up with a zero. He's almost sure to do a little better in Week 13 when the Chargers take on the Atlanta Falcons.Source: ESPN.com
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer Makes Three Catches On Eight Targets In Week 12
Joshua Palmer was heavily involved in a Week 12 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Despite the heavy involvement, he was unable to do much with it. He led the team with eight targets but made only three catches, totaling 38 yards. Palmer was used as a deep threat in this one but seemed completely unable to get any separation in the Ravens secondary, despite drawing one-on-one coverage several times. The Ravens came into this game as one of the worst defenses in the NFL against boundary wide receivers, but Palmer was still unable to put together a good game. He'll remain off the fantasy radar in Week 13 when the Chargers face the Atlanta Falcons.Source: ESPN.com
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Will Dissly Catches Four Passes In Week 12
Will Dissly made four catches in a Week 12 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Playing on Monday Night Football, Dissly was targeted four times, making the four catches for 47 yards. The Chargers ended up only completing 21 passes in this one, so Dissly was pretty heavily involved despite only the four grabs. He's been a key part of the Bolts offense since the bye week and should continue in that role in Week 13 against the Atlanta Falcons. He's a high-floor, low-ceiling type of tight end who is best rostered in 2TE leagues.Source: ESPN.com
Los Angeles Chargers tight end Ladd McConkey Makes Six Catches In A Week 12 Loss
Ladd McConkey led the team in catches and yards in a Week 12 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football. McConkey was targeted six times, catching all six for 83 yards. McConkey and the Chargers offense came in with high expectations against a struggling Ravens secondary, but they were unable to get much going and didn't benefit from any real big plays. Still, the rookie wide out remained heavily involved and continues to look like quarterback Justin Herbert's favorite target. They'll take on the Atlanta Falcons in Week 13.Source: ESPN.com
Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Gus Edwards Scores A Touchdown Against His Former Team In Week 12
Gus Edwards scored a touchdown against his former team, the Baltimore Ravens, in a Week 12 loss. Edwards ran the ball nine times, gaining just 11 yards total, but one of them was a one-yard plunge into the end zone in the fourth quarter. With J.K. Dobbins (knee) forced to exit the game and possibly looking at missing more time, Edwards could see a jump to the top of the depth chart before next week's game against the Atlanta Falcons. While he hasn't shown much burst at all this season, any lead back is worth fantasy consideration if that's where Edwards ends up.Source: ESPN.com
