1 week agoPhiladelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris (knee) will return to the lineup on Tuesday against Detroit. He's back after being unavailable for three games with a knee contusion. Harris has looked sharp lately with multiple 20-point efforts and will have extra fantasy appeal on Tuesday due to Tyrese Maxey's (hip) absence. It's a favorable matchup for Harris, who's had no trouble putting up points against his former team this season, averaging 19.3 points with 54.5 percent shooting from downtown.Source: Keith Pompey
1 week agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton (quadriceps) will be available for Tuesday's marquee matchup against the Celtics. He has shaken off a quadriceps injury and also looks to have recovered from a mouth trauma, which limited Middleton to only 13 minutes on Sunday against the Knicks. The three-time All-Star has averaged 13.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 6.7 assists in three priors meetings with Boston this season.Source: Eric Nehm
1 week agoMilwaukee Bucks point guard Damian Lillard (hip) is good to go for Tuesday's big matchup against Boston. He was a late addition to the injury report on Tuesday with a probable tag, but Bucks head coach Doc Rivers has said Lillard will play. Patrick Beverley (ankle) is also back, which means a lot fewer minutes for Pat Connaughton. Lillard faces a backcourt full of defensive talent on Tuesday, but he has previously played well against the Celtics this season, averaging 26.7 points with 42.9 percent shooting from deep.Source: Eric Nehm
1 week agoMilwaukee Bucks forward/center Giannis Antetokounmpo (hamstring) will play against Boston on Tuesday. The former MVP will be tasked with helping the team end a four-game skid. Antetokounmpo hasn't had a great time against the Celtics this season, settling for only 22.5 points across two games. However, with Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring) and Al Horford (toe) absent for the C's, Boston will be weakened inside the paint, which is where Antetokounmpo does most of his damage.Source: Eric Nehm
1 week agoOrlando Magic guard/forward Franz Wagner (ankle) has been downgraded to out for Tuesday's matchup against Houston. After Wagner hurt his right ankle on Sunday versus Chicago, there was hope of him being available for the contest when he took part in the morning shootaround, but the team has now officially ruled him out. Joe Ingles will likely play a larger part in the rotation without Wagner, although he's been unproductive throughout the season, and fantasy managers should look elsewhere.Source: Orlando Magic
1 week agoBrooklyn Nets center Nicolas Claxton (ankle) is probable for Wednesday's game against the Toronto Raptors. Claxton missed Sunday's blowout loss to the visiting Sacramento Kings due to a sprained left ankle, but his absence with the injury is likely to be held to a one-game minimum. The 24-year-old shot-blocking extraordinaire is supplying 9.4 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 2.0 blocks in 30.1 minutes per game while shooting a paltry 26.3% from the charity stripe over his past five outings for the Nets, and his return would dump cold water on 2023 first-rounder Noah Clowney's recent surge. Claxton should be able to pull down plenty of boards against Toronto, who are without interior presence Jakob Poeltl (hand) and are giving up the third-most rebounds per game (15.9) to enemy centers this season.Source: Brian Lewis - New York Post
1 week agoThe Minnesota Timberwolves announced on Tuesday that center Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) has been cleared for full-contact, 5-on-5 basketball activities and is progressing toward his return to play. Towns remains formally listed as out for Tuesday's matchup with the Washington Wizards, but it sounds like the 28-year-old All-Star big man is eyeing a return from March 12 left meniscus surgery as early as Wednesday's clash between two Western Conference heavyweights with the defending-champion Denver Nuggets. Naz Reid will have at least one more chance under the spotlight for the T-Wolves, averaging 18.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 3.2 three-pointers, and 2.5 combined steals plus blocks across his last 11 appearances (all starts) alongside Rudy Gobert in Minnesota's starting frontcourt. Washington is surrendering more DraftKings points to opposing power forwards than any other team in 2023-24.Source: Dane Moore - 'The Dane Moore NBA Podcast'
1 week agoDenver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon (foot) has been ruled out for Tuesday's matchup against the Utah Jazz. Gordon missed their last game on Saturday versus Atlanta due to a right-foot strain. When he has missed time, 21-year-old Peyton Watson has posted 11.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks in seven games. Christian Braun may also see more minutes on the court in Gordon's absence, as he started Saturday and logged 25 minutes.Source: NBA Injury Report
1 week agoMilwaukee Bucks point guard Patrick Beverley (ankle) is listed as probable for Tuesday's contest with the Boston Celtics. The 35-year-old has missed the last three games due to a sprained right ankle, but he will likely make his return to the court on Tuesday. Over his last 14 outings, he's averaged 5.6 points and 3.3 rebounds in 21.7 minutes per game. Should the veteran point guard be unable to suit up, his next chance to return comes Wednesday versus the Orlando Magic.Source: NBA Injury Report
1 week agoMilwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard (hip) is now listed as probable for Tuesday's contest against the Celtics. He has been dealing with soreness in his left hip. Lillard is a late addition to the injury report, but the 33-year-old should be good to go for tipoff and he is always a must-start in all fantasy formats. If Lillard cannot suit up, Pat Connaughton and Bobby Portis could grab more minutes of playing time than usual.Source: NBA Injury Report
1 week agoOrlando Magic forward Franz Wagner (ankle) was on the court during shootaround putting up shots ahead of Tuesday's tilt against the Houston Rockets. It renders Wagner closer to probable than questionable with a sprained right ankle for Tuesday's action, but his status could still come down to a game-time decision based on pregame warmups. The 46-32 Magic could choose to exercise caution with the 22-year-old former first-round pick with an eye toward the postseason, considering Wagner also sustained a right ankle sprain back in January. More would be asked of Joe Ingles if Wagner is out against the Rockets, but the veteran marksman has only put up 8.0 points, 4.0 assists. 1.5 rebounds, 1.0 steals, and 2.0 three-pointers per contest in four games without Wagner this year. Houston is also allowing the fourth-fewest DraftKings points to opposing small forwards.Source: NBA.com
1 week agoBoston Celtics centers Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring) and Al Horford (toe) are both out for Tuesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. The first-place Celtics will give their two top big men the night off on Tuesday, with their next opportunities to take the court arriving in Thursday’s battle with the New York Knicks. Porzingis is simply having his right hamstring managed, and Horford is nursing a sprained left big toe. With that said, Luke Kornet has averaged 10.0 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.4 blocks in 30.1 minutes over five games as a member of Boston's starting lineup this season and would figure to join the first unit at the five in this one. Kornet should be a chalky DFS value play despite a matchup with a Bucks club allowing the eighth-fewest DraftKings points to opposing centers.Source: Boston Celtics on X
1 week agoDetroit Pistons shooting guard Evan Fournier (knee) is available for Tuesday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Fournier didn't play in Saturday's contest against the New Jersey Nets due to a sore right knee. The 31-year-old French sharpshooter has averaged 4.6 points in 19.0 minutes per game over his last 10 outings. His return won't boost the team's rotation, as Detroit has lost 12 of 13 games.Source: NBA Injury Report
1 week agoWashington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma (ankle) is listed as out for Tuesday's contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves. With nothing to play for at this point, the 15-64 Wizards will keep Kuzma out of action for their third straight game due to his sprained right ankle. His next chance to play comes on Friday when Washington hosts the visiting Chicago Bulls. 2021 first-rounder Corey Kispert is shaping up as a "silly season" hero, providing 18.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.9 steals, and 3.1 three-pointers per game through his last nine contests. Kispert should continue handling heavy minutes from the first unit, but it's a dismal matchup in a game with significant blowout risk against a T-Wolves team that's giving up the fewest DraftKings points to opposing shooting guards.Source: NBA.com
1 week agoSacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray (calf) is listed as available to play in Tuesday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Left calf soreness will not keep Murray out on Tuesday, and the 23-year-old spot-up shooter is in a decent position against a Thunder team that ranks 23rd in three-pointers allowed per game (13.5). Murray's value is more pronounced in nine-category fantasy leagues that are still active, but he's still recording 16.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.9 three-pointers, and 1.7 combined steals plus blocks per game across his latest 13 appearances. Expect him to handle his usual allotment of minutes in Sacramento's starting lineup against OKC.Source: Jason Anderson - The Sacramento Bee
