The Miami Dolphins have selected Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers with the 231st overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Ewers was previously the top recruit coming out of high school in 2022. He originally committed to Texas, flipped to Ohio State, and then transferred to Texas a year later. Ewers was benched for Arch Manning during a game against Georgia last October, but for the most part, he was the Longhorns' starter. He finished his final collegiate season having completed 66 percent of his passes for 3,472 yards, 31 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. In Miami, he'll offer depth behind Tua Tagovailoa and Zach Wilson. The Dolphins' No. 2 quarterback role has long been a topic of discussion due to Tagovailoa's history of serious concussions.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: NFL

The Indianapolis Colts have selected Notre Dame quarterback Riley Leonard with the 189th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. A Duke transfer, Leonard racked up 2,861 passing yards, 21 passing touchdowns, and eight interceptions during his one and only season with the Fighting Irish. He also rushed for 906 yards and another 17 touchdowns on the ground. Leonard is capable of making big, accurate throws down the field, but he can also keep defenses guessing with his ability to roll out of the pocket and make plays. He joins a Colts quarterback room that features two other mobile quarterbacks, Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones. Leonard likely won't earn playing time in Week 1, but with glaring quarterback questions in Indianapolis, he could push for an opportunity to earn snaps down the stretch.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: NFL

The Pittsburgh Steelers have selected Ohio State quarterback Will Howard with the 185th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Howard looked like a polished passer at times last season, leading the Buckeyes to a national championship. He pairs his good mechanics and accuracy with the mobility needed to make plays on the run. As a senior, he ultimately led the Big 10 in completion percentage (73%), passing yards (4,010), and passing touchdowns (35). This selection is particularly intriguing because Howard could have a chance to compete for the starting quarterback job. Pittsburgh's quarterback room currently features Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson, neither of whom has extensive starting experience at the NFL level.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: Pittsburgh Steelers

The Philadelphia Eagles selected Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord with the 181st overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. McCord transferred from Ohio State to Syracuse ahead of the 2024 season, and during his final collegiate campaign, he led all FBS schools in completions, pass attempts, and passing yards. He totaled 34 passing touchdowns but also threw 12 interceptions. McCord's arm strength and upside are evident, but things can go awry when he gets forced outside of the pocket. He'll presumably have a chance to compete with Tanner McKee and Dorian Thompson-Robinson for the Eagles' backup quarterback job behind Jalen Hurts.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: NFL.com

The Miami Dolphins have selected Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon II with the 179th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Gordon is a good, physical downhill runner who has shown an ability to catch passes out of the backfield. He was a workhorse running back over his final two collegiate seasons, totaling 2,612 rushing yards, 509 receiving yards, and 36 touchdowns during that span. He'll join a Miami backfield that also features De'Von Achane, Jaylen Wright, and Alexander Mattison.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: NFL.com

The Indianapolis Colts have selected Kansas State running back DJ Giddens with the 151st overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. He's a big-bodied runner with decent speed and the ability to find gaps at the line of scrimmage. Over his final two collegiate seasons, he totaled 2,569 rushing yards, 581 receiving yards, and 21 total touchdowns. Presumably, he'll have a chance to compete with Khalil Herbert for the No. 2 running back role behind Jonathan Taylor. Of course, Taylor remains the workhorse in Indianapolis, so Giddens would only become fantasy-relevant if Taylor gets injured.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: Indianapolis Colts

The Dallas Cowboys have selected Texas running back Jaydon Blue with the 149th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Blue isn't a dominant tackle breaker, but he has good downfield speed and can make an impact as a dual-threat option out of the backfield. He rushed 134 times for 730 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground last year, and he added an additional 42 catches, 368 receiving yards, and six receiving touchdowns through the air. Entering the draft, Dallas' backfield was headlined by Javonte Williams, Miles Sanders, and Deuce Vaughn, so Blue has a chance to carve out a role right away. He's an intriguing rookie selection and could be worth a late-round flier in redraft leagues.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: NFL

The San Francisco 49ers have selected Ole Miss wide receiver Jordan Watkins with the 138th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Watkins doesn't possess game-changing speed, but his physical playing style and dependable hands make him a solid slot receiver who can play through contact. His receiving skills were on display at Ole Miss, where he caught 49 passes for 906 yards and nine touchdowns. San Francisco shipped away Deebo Samuel Sr. this offseason, but Watkins is still buried on the depth chart behind Brandon Aiyuk, Jauan Jennings, and Ricky Pearsall.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: NFL.com

The Minnesota Vikings have acquired quarterback Sam Howell and the 172nd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft from the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for the 142nd overall pick, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The Vikings were in need of a backup quarterback after a busy offseason that saw Sam Darnold depart in free agency, leaving J.J. McCarthy (knee) as the team's presumptive starter. Ironically, Darnold went to the Seahawks, and Seattle also drafted Jalen Milroe on Friday, leaving Howell as the odd man out. Now, he'll bring his experience and leadership to Minnesota. It's an important addition for the Vikings given that McCarthy, who was last year's first-round pick, has not played a regular-season snap yet. He should start Week 1 this season, but Howell will be next in line if McCarthy suffers another injury or struggles.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: Ian Rapoport

The Tennessee Titans have selected Stanford wide receiver Elic Ayomanor with the 136th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Less than two days after drafting quarterback Cam Ward, the Titans are making a clear effort to support him with young pass-catchers. Their first three Day 3 picks were used on a pair of wide receivers and a tight end. Ayomanor is a playmaker who can work vertically and projects to contribute in a depth role at the NFL level. He and fellow fourth-round pick Chimere Dike will presumably open the year behind Calvin Ridley, Tyler Lockett, and perhaps Van Jefferson.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: NFL.com

The Kansas City Chiefs have selected Jalen Royals with the 133rd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Royals, who was a candidate to be selected on Day 2, represents the Chiefs' latest attempt to bolster the wide receiver room for quarterback Patrick Mahomes. He caught 126 passes for 1,914 yards and 21 touchdowns over his final two collegiate seasons. He is a versatile, well-rounded receiver who can make an impact right away, though he could initially be blocked on the depth chart by Xavier Worthy, Rashee Rice, and Marquise Brown.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: Jordan Schultz

The Washington Commanders selected Virginia Tech wide receiver Jaylin Lane with the 128th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Lane is a physical and speedy runner who is capable of accruing yards after the catch, but his route running needs improvement. He caught 79 passes for 1,004 yards and eight touchdowns over his final two collegiate seasons. Washington's wide receiver room already features Terry McLaurin, Deebo Samuel Sr., Michael Gallup, and Noah Brown, so Lane's best route to earning playing time could be special teams. The Commanders also presumably aren't ready to give up on Luke McCaffrey, who was last year's third-round pick.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: John Keim

The Cleveland Browns have selected Tennessee running back Dylan Sampson with the 126th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Sampson has previously dealt with fumbling issues, but he possesses a high football IQ and has shown an ability to fight for extra yards after first contact. He is also capable of being a workhorse back, which was on display as he rushed 258 times for 1,491 and 22 touchdowns as a senior last season. It will be interesting to monitor the running back competition in Cleveland this summer. The Browns already had Jerome Ford and Pierre Strong Jr., and now they've added Sampson and Quinshon Judkins via the draft.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: Cleveland Browns
