Indiana Pacers center Isaiah Jackson has signed a new deal with the organization on Friday. According to Shams Charania, Jackson has agreed to a three-year, $21 million deal with the Pacers. Jackson only appeared in five games last season before suffering a torn right Achilles tendon. Through four seasons, Jackson is averaging 7.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 0.7 assists across 15.0 minutes per game in 162 contests. The 23-year-old now has a clear path to playing time with Myles Turner departing this offseason. It's worth noting that Jackson hasn't played more than 16.8 minutes per game in a single season. It's unclear how he'll perform with such a high increase in playing time, but his fantasy value should be on the rise without Turner in the mix.--Andy WebbSource: Shams Charania

The Washington Wizards have signed free-agent forward Marvin Bagley III to a one-year deal on Thursday, according to Shams Charania. Bagley has put together an underwhelming career since being drafted No. 2 overall by the Sacramento Kings in 2018. He has bounced around quite a bit during his career, including one and a half seasons with the Wizards. During his career, Bagley is averaging 12.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 0.9 assists in 22.4 minutes per game in 289 contests. He didn't see much of the court last season and figures to be a role player in Washington this upcoming season.--Andy WebbSource: Shams Charania

New Orleans Pelicans forward Herbert Jones (shoulder) has signed a new deal with the organization on Thursday. According to Shams Charania, Jones has reached a three-year, $68 million extension with New Orleans. Jones will now be under contract for the next five years with a player option for the 2029-2030 season. He's currently rehabbing from shoulder surgery, but is expected to be ready for the beginning of the regular season. Before going down, Jones averaged 10.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.2 assists across 32.4 minutes per game in 20 games with New Orleans last season. He figures to be a significant part of the future in New Orleans.--Andy WebbSource: Shams Charania

The Atlanta Hawks have signed forward Jacob Toppin to a one-year, two-way contract on Thursday. Toppin is back with the Hawks after finishing out last season with the organization. Before that, Toppin played a minor role in the New York Knicks rotation. He averaged 0.4 points, 0.7 rebounds, and 0.2 assists across 3.1 minutes per game in 16 games with the Knicks. He played much better in the G-League, averaging 19.1 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists in eight games. He's unlikely to have a role in the regular rotation, but he could be a depth option if someone gets injured.--Andy WebbSource: Michael Scotto

Los Angeles Lakers guard Dalton Knecht (calf) was forced to make an early exit from Thursday's summer league contest against the Dallas Mavericks. Knecht appeared to have suffered some sort of knee or leg injury late in the game. After further evaluation, Knecht was diagnosed with a right calf cramp. This appears to be a minor issue, so Knecht should be available for Saturday's summer league contest. He finished this game with 16 points and four rebounds in 26 minutes of action. Last season, Knecht finished with 9.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 0.8 assists in 19.2 minutes per game in 78 contests. He'll probably play a similar if not reduced role this upcoming season.--Andy WebbSource: Dan Woike

The Memphis Grizzlies have signed guard Javon Small to a two-way deal on Friday. Small was the No. 48 overall pick by Memphis during this year's draft. There is some upside here, but Small figures to spend a majority of his time in the G-League. He averaged 18.6 points, 5.6 assists, and 4.1 rebounds during his career at West Virginia. The Grizzlies do have decent depth at the guard spot, so it would take a few injuries for Small to get into the mix. However, Small could earn himself a spot with solid play in the G-League.--Andy WebbSource: Michael Scotto

ESPN's Shams Charania reports that the Oklahoma City Thunder and forward Jalen Williams (wrist) have agreed to a five-year maximum rookie contract extension worth $287 million. As expected, the 24-year-old star received a massive contract extension on Thursday after helping lead the Thunder to their first NBA championship last season. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren also recently signed extensions with the organization. Williams averaged 21.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 36.5 percent from beyond the arc during the 2024-25 campaign. He is expected to be ready for next season after offseason surgery due to a ligament tear in his right wrist.--Andrew LennoxSource: Shams Charania

According to Coty Wiles of RaptorsRepublic.com, the Toronto Raptors and 23-year-old guard Alijah Martin agreed to a two-way contract on Thursday. The Raptors drafted Martin with the 39th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft last month. He ended his collegiate career with Florida, averaging 14.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.5 steals in 30.3 minutes per contest across 38 games last season. Martin will likely spend a significant amount of time in the G League at the beginning of the upcoming campaign.--Andrew LennoxSource: Coty Wiles

According to Shams Charania of ESPN, the Washington Wizards are re-signing center Tristan Vukcevic to a two-way NBA deal. The 2025-26 season will be Vukcevic's third in his NBA career. During last year's campaign, the 22-year-old averaged 9.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 14.6 minutes per contest. He also shot 49.6 percent from the floor and 37.3 percent from beyond the arc across 35 games. The 7-footer made a strong impression, averaging 18.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 2.2 three-pointers on 54.2 percent from the field in 25.0 minutes during the Wizards' final five contests last season.--Andrew LennoxSource: Shams Charania

Boston Celtics shooting guard Anfernee Simons remains on the trade block. "I have talked to other teams who have said they are actively trying to trade Anfernee Simons," said ESPN's Brian Windhorst on Wednesday's Hoop Collective Podcast. "Whether they can or not is another [thing]." Getting rid of Simons and his $27.7 million expiring contract would help the Celtics avoid the luxury tax next season. Simons has developed into a proven scorer in the league and has plenty more to offer after turning 26 just last month. With the Portland Trail Blazers, Simons averaged 19.3 points and 4.8 assists in 32.7 minutes last season.--Taavi PailkSource: Brian Windhorst

Guard/forward Alex Ducas is set to move to the Brisbane Bullets of the NBL. According to ESPN, Ducas plans to sign a one-year deal with the team after the NBA Summer League. Ducas has made one Summer League appearance with the Oklahoma City Thunder but is expected to sit out the rest of the action. After going undrafted last year, Ducas signed a two-way contract with the Thunder and became the ninth Australian-born player to win an NBA title. He made 21 appearances with the team, averaging 1.7 points and 1.2 rebounds in 6.0 minutes.--Taavi PailkSource: ESPN

Power forward Dominick Barlow has signed a two-way contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, ESPN's Shams Charania reports. The 22-year-old joins his third NBA team after previously spending time with the San Antonio Spurs and Atlanta Hawks. Barlow made 35 appearances with the Hawks last season, averaging 4.2 points and 2.4 rebounds in 10.7 minutes. In the G League, Barlow has averaged 18.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks for his career. Philadelphia waived Alex Reese to make room for Barlow on the roster.--Taavi PailkSource: Shams Charania

The San Antonio Spurs are bringing back point guard Jordan McLaughlin on a one-year deal. According to ESPN's Shams Charania, McLaughlin has agreed to a $3 million deal. The 29-year-old was acquired by the Spurs from the Sacramento Kings last season in the De'Aaron Fox trade. McLaughlin was a third-string guard on the squad, averaging 2.5 points and 1.5 assists in 6.9 minutes across 18 games. His role is unlikely to change in 2025-26, with Fox, Dylan Harper, and Stephon Castle all ahead of him on the depth chart.--Taavi PailkSource: Shams Charania

San Antonio Spurs guard Dylan Harper (groin) will sit out Thursday's Las Vegas Summer League clash against the Philadelphia 76ers but is expected to suit up later in the week. Tom Orsborn of the San Antonio Express-News reports that the Spurs "expect him to be ready for Saturday." On Saturday, San Antonio will face Cooper Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks, setting the stage for a mouthwatering matchup between two of the top picks in this year's draft. Harper missed all three games at the California Classic Summer League due to a groin issue.--Taavi PailkSource: Tom Orsborn

Philadelphia 76ers guard VJ Edgecombe won't play in Thursday's Summer League meeting with the San Antonio Spurs. The rookie, selected No. 3 overall in the 2025 NBA Draft, looked good in the Sixers' Salt Lake Summer League opener versus Utah, amassing 28 points, 10 boards, four assists, two blocks, and one steal. However, he missed the final two games due to a thumb injury. Fortunately, the ailment doesn't appear too serious, with doctors diagnosing the 19-year-old with a sprain. For now, Edgecombe is considered day-to-day, although the team will surely play it safe, meaning there's a chance fans won't see him on the court in Las Vegas. He will be reevaluated on Saturday.--Dennis ClausenSource: Zach Ciavolella
