6 days agoGolden State Warriors center Willie Cauley-Stein had looked to be trending up prior to Wednesday's game, but he came out against the Jazz and provided a monster dud in the loss. Cauley-Stein could not get things going against Rudy Gobert as he missed all five of his shot attempts to finish the night with just two points, four boards, and two assists. Omari Spellman did manage to score 12 points in 15 minutes, but the center position in Golden State seasons has been a bit of revolving door this season. WCS, like many players on the Warriors, have been tough to hang onto this season.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

6 days agoGolden State Warriors power forward/center Draymond Green played 25 minutes on Wednesday but did not provide too much for his owners as his frustrating season continued in the loss to the Jazz. Green scored five points with four rebounds and managed to add just two assists with a steal. Green was out on Monday with an illness and it seems that he is going to be a tough player to hang onto with random rest days in sight. If he does ever put together a couple of solid lines in a row, be aggressive to move him if you have not yet dropped him.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

6 days agoUtah Jazz center Rudy Gobert continued his domination at both ends as he scored 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in 30 minutes in the 129-96 win over the Warriors. Gobert was efficient once again, as he nailed 10 of 13 from the floor and added three blocks with two assists and a steal while being a game-high plus-31. Gobert did struggle at the line, making just two of his seven attempts, but we will give him a pass here. Utah is smoking-hot, winning 18 of their last 20 games, and a lot of this has to do with Gobert's play as of late.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

6 days agoUtah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell managed to score 23 points on 13 shots in just 22 minutes in the easy win over the Warriors on Wednesday. Mitchell added four rebounds with three assists and a steal while drilling four of eight from three in this one. Mitchell has improved his efficiencies this season as he is shooting 46.2% from the floor with a career-high 51.8 eFG%. Mitchell has still managed to keep up his scoring (24.7 points a night) this season, even with the addition of some extra bodies, which makes the Jazz a lethal squad this season.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

6 days agoUtah Jazz shooting guard/small forward Joe Ingles managed to find his shooting rhythm on Wednesday after shooting just three of 10 over his previous two games in the 33-point win over the Warriors. Ingles connected on 4-for-7 shooting en route to 11 points and added eight assists with two rebounds while being a plus-20 in just 25 minutes of action. Ingles' minutes were down once again, but this night had a lot to do with garbage time. Since Mike Conley has returned, we have seen Ingles' numbers drop to 6.3 points and 5.3 rebounds, but he is still managing to provide 9.0 assists across his last three games.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

6 days agoHouston Rockets guard James Harden somewhat bounced back on Wednesday after shooting 1-for-17 from three in his last outing. Harden scored 27 points to help his club pick up the win and he connected on 6-for-13 shooting from the floor while knocking down two of six from three. Harden also added five rebounds, five assists, and two steals while connecting on 13 of 15 at the line. His backcourt teammate Russell Westbrook has been fire as of late and this has led to Harden to average 'only' 25.8 points over his previous four games on a rough 35.1 shooting from the floor in that span. Keep in mind, we know that he could go off at any moment though.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

6 days agoHouston Rockets guard Russell Westbrook once again led the charge for the Rockets on Wednesday as he scored 28 points on 11 of 25 shooting in the win over the Nuggets. Westbrook did not stop there as he added 16 rebounds, eight assists and four steals with a block in 34 minutes of action. Westbrook is smoking hot right now and over his last three games is averaging 31.7 points, 12.0 rebounds, 9.0 assists, and 3.0 steals and what's most impressive, he is shooting 58.3% from the floor in that span. He will look to keep things going on Friday when his squad takes on Minnesota.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

6 days agoDenver Nuggets forward Jerami Grant continued to provide fantasy-worthy lines on Wednesday when he scored 17 points with some nice extras in the loss to the Rockets. Grant connected on 7-for-17 shooting while adding two triples with seven rebounds, three steals and two blocks in 35 minutes of action. Grant has stepped up for the banged-up Nuggets and with Paul Millsap not looking near a return, Grant is in must-own territory. Check your waiver wire and we can assume he will provide another big line on Friday against the Pelicans with the way he is playing as of late.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

6 days agoDenver Nuggets power forward/center Nikola Jokic recorded his eighth triple-double of the season, but it was not enough in the rough loss to Houston. Jokic scored 19 points on 8-for-19 shooting while adding 12 rebounds, 10 assists, and a steal to go along with a single block in 34 minutes of action. Jokic also committed six turnovers and was a minus-nine when he was on the court on Wednesday. Jokic will look to keep things going on Friday when his club takes on the Pelicans who allow 53.2 FanDuel points to centers on the season.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

6 days agoDenver Nuggets shooting guard/small forward Will Barton struggled to find his groove from the floor on Wednesday in the 16-point loss to the Rockets. Barton connected on just 3-for-14 shooting to score just eight points while adding six assists with three rebounds and two steals with a block in 38 minutes of action. With the Nuggets being shorthanded, the Nuggets need all of Barton they can get, and this was not it on this night. Barton has been a mid-round stud this season, so owners can give him a pass on this night and will hope he can bounce back on Friday against the Pelicans.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

6 days agoToronto Raptors guard Fred Vanvleet connected on 8-for-17 shooting en route to 22 points to help secure the 107-95 win over the 76ers. VanVleet added a full line with eight assists, five rebounds and a steal while drilling six triples in a heavy 42 minutes of action. VanVleet has been just awesome since returning from injury and looks to be a lock to return early round value the rest of the way. The Raps have the fantasy friendly Knicks on Friday, and VanVleet is for sure worth a serious look in that one in DFS.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

Gasol did not stop there as he nailed three triples with five rebounds and three assists while adding a single steal in 25 minutes of action. Gasol has played excellent in four of the five games since he has returned and is averaging 14.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.2 steals while drilling 2.8 triples at a sizzling 58.3% clip in his last five games. Siakam has not been his pre-injury self since returning and is averaging just 16.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 steals with only 0.8 makes from three where he is shooting a rough 20.0% from deep the six games he has played in since returning.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

6 days agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard/forward Ben Simmons was just two assists shy of a triple-double on Wednesday in the 12-point loss to Toronto. Simmons scored 17 points on an efficient 5-for-7 shooting while hitting seven of nine at the line and added 10 rebounds with eight assists and two steals. It was not all good for Simmons as he did record eight turnovers and was also a team-worst minus-14 in 38 minutes of action. Simmons has seen his usage creep up with Joel Embiid (hand) out and now with Josh Richardson (hamstring) to potentially miss time, we could be seeing a lot of Simmons for the near future.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

6 days agoPhiladelphia 76ers shooting guard/small forward Josh Richardson injured his hamstring after playing just four minutes in Wednesday's tilt with the Raptors. Richardson was playing defense on Fred Vanvleet in the Raptors' backcourt when he went came holding his left hamstring. He was ruled out for the rest of the night rather quickly and JRich also declined to comment on his hamstring post-game. These two points are not good ones, and we need to wait for updates on the 3-and-d specialist. If he does miss time, Furkan Korkmaz will see an uptick in touches and Shake Milton should see more minutes.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBallerSource: ESPN
