Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey (rest) will return to the lineup on Wednesday against the Anaheim Ducks. Winnipeg rested its No. 1 defenseman for Sunday's matchup with the Edmonton Oilers, but he will be back in action for the regular-season finale. Morrissey has registered a third consecutive campaign with 60-plus points, notching 14 goals and 47 assists in 79 appearances. Additionally, he has logged 110 blocks, marking his fourth consecutive season with at least 100 blocked shots. The Jets defense will also have Neal Pionk (rest) back for Wednesday's game. Ville Heinola, Haydn Fleury, and Colin Miller will be healthy scratches after playing against Edmonton.

Winnipeg Jets forward Gabriel Vilardi (upper body) will remain out for Wednesday's regular-season finale against the Anaheim Ducks. The 25-year-old is nearing his return and is considered day-to-day, but his comeback won't come before the Jets start their postseason campaign. Vilardi, who has not been in the lineup since March 23, ends the regular season with 61 points (27 goals, 34 assists) in 71 games. He posted career-highs in all the major offensive categories. We will likely see Vilardi back on the top line once he is ready to return, although Alex Iafallo has done an excellent job as his replacement, matching a season high with a four-game point streak ahead of Wednesday's contest.

Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin (hip) is expected to rejoin the lineup for Wednesday's regular-season finale against the Nashville Predators. He has been activated from Long-Term Injured Reserve and is officially considered a game-time decision. Seguin has been out of action since Dec. 1. He underwent hip surgery a few days after his last appearance. The veteran had a productive start to the year, notching 20 points (nine goals, 11 assists) in 19 games. He will be a valuable addition for the Stars' playoff run, but the team will also give Seguin a bit of regular-season action to shake off some rust.

Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang (heart) will not participate in Thursday's season finale against the Washington Capitals following a medical procedure. On Wednesday, the team announced that Letang had undergone surgery to repair a small hole in his heart and will be sidelined for 4-6 weeks. The veteran blue-liner has previously missed time in his career due to strokes related to the hole in his heart. He is expected to make a full recovery from the surgery. It was a disappointing campaign for Letang, who finished with 30 points (nine goals, 21 assists) in 74 appearances, marking his lowest scoring total since 2013-14 when he played in only 37 games.

Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid (rest) will be in the lineup on Wednesday against the San Jose Sharks. The three-time MVP was rested on Monday against the Los Angeles Kings but will be brought back into the mix for Edmonton's regular-season finale. McDavid is expected to be joined by Jeff Skinner and Connor Brown on the first line. In two contests against the Sharks this season, McDavid has registered a whopping seven points, all via assists. Since the international break, he has finished scoreless only once in 17 appearances, and McDavid will aim to reach the 100-point plateau on Wednesday night. Minnesota Wild right wing Matt Boldy tallied two points to lead Minnesota to a 3-2 overtime victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday evening. Boldy would tally the primary assist on Joel Eriksson Ek's game-tying goal with just 20 seconds left in the third frame to force overtime. Then, in overtime, Boldy would score the game-winner to push Minnesota over the top. This victory clinched their spot as the top wild card in the Western Conference and will set them up for a first-round matchup against the Vegas Golden Knights. In 82 games this season, Boldy scored 27 goals and added 46 assists. The 24-year-old logged a career-high 271 shots on goal with 52 hits and 69 blocked shots.

St. Louis Blues left wing Pavel Buchnevich tallied three points during their 6-1 victory over the Utah Hockey Club on Tuesday evening. Buchnevich did all of his damage in the opening frame. He first tallied the secondary assist on Brayden Schenn's goal. Later, he would find the back of the net on a snapshot, which would eventually serve as the game-winner. He would then add his second helper, this time a secondary assist on Jimmy Snuggerud's power-play goal. This was Buchnevich's second three-point outing over his last three contests. Over his last eight contests, Buchnevich has found the back of the net six times and added four helpers. He will look to carry this momentum into the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Tampa Bay Lightning center Brayden Point tallied three points during their 5-1 victory over the Florida Panthers on Tuesday evening. Columbus Blue Jackets rookie goaltender Jet Greaves stopped all 29 shots he saw en route to defeating the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday evening. This was a "must-win" game for the Blue Jackets to keep them alive in the playoff race. Greaves was able to lead the way as Columbus was able to win their fifth-straight contest. During Greaves' impressive four-game winning streak, he has posted two shutouts and allowed just three total goals. He has held an incredible .976 save percentage with a near-perfect 0.76 GAA. Before this impressive late-season finish, Greaves held a modest 3.02 GAA with a .894 save percentage over his last five NHL starts. Fantasy managers should expect Greaves to get the nod in their regular-season finale on Thursday against the New York Islanders.

This was Stolarz's fourth shutout of the season. This outing also extended Stolarz's winning streak to an impressive eight games. During this stretch, Stolarz has posted a stellar .950 save percentage with a 1.37 GAA. Even though the 31-year-old netminder has missed time, he has been very productive when on the ice.
