This past Saturday, Lerone Murphy picked up a unanimous decision win over former interim featherweight title challenger Josh Emmett in the main event of UFC Vegas 105 on Saturday. Murphy had a masterful performance where he outpointed and outstruck Emmett on the feet throughout five rounds. The 33-year-old Murphy won 48-47, 48-47, 49-46 on the judges' scorecards, seeing him equal Movsar Evloev for the longest undefeated streak in the featherweight division. In the main event of UFC Vegas 105, former interim title challenger Josh Emmett suffered a five-round unanimous decision loss to an undefeated Lerone Murphy. 40-year-old Josh Emmett was appearing in the Octagon for the first time since December 2023. Joanderson Brito suffered a unanimous decision loss to Pat Sabatini in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 105 on Saturday. Brito got taken down multiple times and was dominated for the majority of the fight. All judges scored the bout decisively in favor of Sabatini, with scores of 30-26, 30-26, and 30-27. Romious badly missed weight as he was three and a half pounds over the bantamweight limit. The 31-year-old Romious had his moments in the fight but was ultimately outclassed before getting finished.
