Packers Want To Get Randall Cobb More Involved
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb has played just 27 of the team's 122 offensive snaps (22.13 percent) through the first two weeks of the season. Head coach Matt LaFleur said he's "got to do a better job of trying to get" Cobb more plays while calling him "an important part of our football team" and someone he would like to get "a little bit more involved." The veteran wideout has just four catches for 58 yards, but he did haul in three passes for 26 yards in the Monday night win over the Detroit Lions. It sounds as though Cobb's snaps should be going up soon, but until that actually leads to more production, he won't be trustworthy in starting fantasy lineups. Davante Adams is the only weekly starting wideout in Green Bay's offense right now.
