Nolan Jones Gets On Base Three Times
4 years agoCleveland Indians third base prospect Nolan Jones had two walks and a single on Thursday against the San Diego Padres. The 22-year-old prospect is now 3-for-8 with a BB-K of 4-5 this spring. Jones spent the 2020 season at the alternate training site after splitting 2019 between high-A and double-A when he combined to walk 94 times in 126 games. He currently has impressive raw power but he has yet to fully tap into it because he hits too many ground balls. Jones is currently blocked at the hot corner by veteran Jose Ramirez. Jones is ranked by Rotoballer as the second-best dynasty third-base prospect in baseball and has even higher value in on-base leagues.
