Tampa Bay Lightning right wing Nikita Kucherov had his goal streak cut at six games on Tuesday versus Edmonton, but he managed to record an assist in a 6-2 defeat and is now tied with New Jersey's Jesper Bratt for the longest point streak of the season. Kucherov took his run to 11 games when he combined with Brayden Point to set up Brandon Hagel, who scored his fifth goal in eight games. It marks Kucherov's 15th assist of the season and only two players in the league have managed more. The former MVP is doing MVP things, sitting third in the league's scoring charts with 21 points in 13 games. Kucherov's form will now be tested by Washington in back-to-back games. He has notched 24 points in his previous 22 career appearances against the Capitals.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
