The NFL and the Players Association have agreed to a salary cap ceiling of $208.2 million for the 2022 season, according to a source. There is no cap floor, as of now. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the salary cap dropped to $182.5 million this year. It points to an expected spike in future revenue for the league after a season that was mostly played without fans in attendance. Nothing is firmly set in stone for 2022 yet, but the initial figure will at least give teams and players a point of reference for their financial planning into the future. The higher salary cap ceiling is good news for players that took less money on one-year deals for the 2021 season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
