The New York Jets have fired head coach Adam Gase following Sunday's defeat to New England, ending his tenure with the organization after two years. Gase was on the hot seat seemingly from the get-go in 2020, with the team losing its first 13 games almost surely sealing his fate. Speculation around Gase's job security reached fever pitch after the team won back-to-back games in December, sealing the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Defensive coordinator Gregg Williams was fired earlier this year, while Gase's handling of the offensive play calling duties and refusal to hand playing time to younger players was a constant source of contention during the second half of the year. Where New York turns from here is unclear, leaving the status of many of their fantasy relevant players in abeyance while a search for a new head coach commences.--Jesse BorekRead More News
