Major League Baseball and the Players Association lawyers met again on Monday and plan to meet again on Tuesday, with the league suggesting Tuesday is another deadline to play 162 games and for players to get full pay and service time in 2022. Commissioner Rob Manfred canceled the first two series of the regular season last week, but those series can still be rescheduled, even if Opening Day is later than the originally scheduled March 31 date. The league has told the Players Association it expects to cancel another week of games if a deal isn't reached on Tuesday, according to sources. The players don't sound very optimistic that something will get done, but we'll have to wait and see. To get a new collective bargaining agreement done, the league needs to move off their luxury tax offer of $220 million.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
