Miles Sanders Questionable To Return With Hand Injury
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders (hand) is questionable to return to the Week 16 game against the New York Giants due to a hand injury. Before leaving the contest, Sanders led the team with seven carries while gaining 45 yards (6.4 yards per carry). He also caught one of his three targets in the passing game for just three yards. Sanders has been running wild in recent weeks with two straight 100-yard games, but he's still searching for his first touchdown of the season and may not return on Sunday. If Sanders is unable to return in this juicy matchup, Jordan Howard and Boston Scott figure to split most of the backfield touches. And depending on whether Sanders' hand injury is serious enough to put him in danger of missing Week 17, both Howard and Scott would become attractive waiver-wire pickups heading into championship week in most fantasy leagues.
