Colorado Avalanche right-winger Mikko Rantanen registered an assist and an empty-net tally in his team's 4-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild on Thursday night. The 21-year-old also posted a plus-one rating and four shots on goal to go along with his two points on the night. Rantanen is fresh off an excellent sophomore season, having put up 84 points (29 goals, 55 assists), 35 power play points and 178 shots on goal. The Finnish native has formed great chemistry with league superstar Nathan MacKinnon on the Avs' top line and should push for a top-50 finish in fantasy hockey this season. Rantanen and the Avalanche will host the Flyers on Saturday night.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
