3 years agoLos Angeles Angels interim manager Phil Nevin provided an update on outfielder Mike Trout (groin) after Tuesday's game against the Boston Red Sox. Nevin stated that Trout "doesn't seem too alarmed" by the left groin tightness that caused him to exit Tuesday's game. Nevin also added that Trout will undergo further testing on Wednesday. It seems likely that Trout will sit out Wednesday's game, but if his initial inclinations are correct, he may not miss much more action after that. The 30-year-old superstar currently has a .284/.388/.601 slash line to go along with 14 home runs, 30 RBI and 39 runs over 52 games on the year.
