Mike Evans Will Play Against Washington
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans (knee) will play in the wild-card game on Saturday night against the Washington Football Team. Evans was set to be a game-time decision after hyperextending his knee in the Week 17 regular season finale against the Falcons, but he was able to practice this week and will be active. The 27-year-old's presence means that Antonio Brown and Chris Godwin won't have even higher ceilings, but they're still not bad plays in fantasy playoff leagues. Scotty Miller will be the team's fourth wideout. Evans finished as the No. 7 fantasy wideout in standard-scoring leagues in 2020 in his first season working with quarterback Tom Brady, catching 70 passes (109 targets) for 1,006 yards and a career-high 13 touchdowns. He's a touchdown-dependent low-end WR1 on wild-card weekend.
